Actor Michael Moore makes bold 2024 presidential election prediction: ‘They’re toast’
Prominent progressive filmmaker Michael Moore has boldly predicted that Trump is “about to toast” the upcoming election.
The Fahrenheit 9/11 director made the statement on MSNBC Sunday, talking about the state of the race and how he believes his home state of Michigan will play a role.
Moore, a Democrat, correctly predicted the 2016 election, but this time told host Ayman Mohyeldin that Trump will likely lose.
He added that Trump supporters would be “surprised” by the outcome – despite having warned just days ago that Harris could lose the race if she did not embrace a ceasefire in Israel and demand its return of all hostages held by Hamas.
At the time, the Bowling for Columbine creator said Harris could lose Michigan, but on Sunday he sang a different tune when he insisted the Democrat would win.

“The gift that the Trump campaign continues to give us, I don’t think they realized, I don’t think they’re really in touch with where the majority of Americans are,” Moore, 70, began.
“The majority of Americans do not want this division, they do not want the threat of violence,” he emphasized.
“It’s okay if we disagree, but that’s where it ends.”
First, admitting either outcome isn’t the end of the world, he told Mohyeldin he thinks so ‘[MAGA] will be very surprised,
“I’m talking about the Trump people and the MAGA nation, about what’s going to happen on Tuesday,” he further explained – before openly stating, “I feel like Trump is absolutely toast.
‘I feel it more now.
“I don’t want to say it too loudly because our work isn’t done yet,” Moore quickly added, with Election Day just hours away. “We all have to make sure we get people to vote.”

The man whose last major work was the 2018 anti-Trump document “Fahrenheit 11/9” then urged people to go to the polls, telling them “to think of three people they might at work or at school or whatever, who won’t do that’. votes, to get them to the polls, drive there.
“We have work to do in these 48 hours, but that being said, I am very optimistic and hopeful,” he continued, before saying he believes Americans in Michigan will ultimately vote blue.
“Honestly, I know people who see this are like, Mike, how can you say that?” he added about such a prospect.
‘We got all these crazy people and Trump, [Richard] Stearns and MAGA nation, and what I say to them is clear: I have great personal, deep trust in my fellow Americans.”
Election day is on Tuesday.
