Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary appear to have put their artistic hats on in recent weeks during the Penrith star’s visit to spend time with his girlfriend in Europe.

After guiding Penrith to their fourth consecutive premiership title almost a month ago, Cleary made the trip to Britain to meet his girlfriend Fowler.

The pair were first pictured at Old Trafford watching the Super League Grand Final. During a half-time interview, Cleary also poured cold water on rumors he could move to the Northern Hemisphere to be closer to Fowler, who currently plays for Manchester City’s women’s side.

In recent weeks, the sporty duo have shared several snaps of each other as they enjoyed some down time. The pair were pictured enjoying coastal walks and visiting a seaside resort, while Cleary posted several photos of himself taking a dip in a Swiss lake as he traveled to see Fowler perform for the Matildas in their 1-1 draw against Switzerland last month.

But while the couple has done a lot of exploring, it looks like they’ve also been brushing up on their painting skills.

Fowler shared a photo on her Instagram account that showed the couple had painted portraits of each other.

Cleary also signed his portrait of his girlfriend with the message: ‘Love yourz’ before adding his signature to the bottom of the photo.

Fowler, who was not named in Man City’s squad to play Crystal Palace in London this weekend, shared several other photos of the pair spending some time on the beach. She also included a photo of herself standing outside what appears to be the Catedral-Basilica de Santa Maria in Mallorca.

The City striker also added a photo of himself with some Matildas teammates and a photo with the message: ‘Don’t lose this moment looking for someone else.’

She captioned the post, “I feel blessed. Grateful for this life.’

It is understood Cleary, who traveled to Europe about three weeks ago, has since returned to Australia.

The Panthers halfback will undergo surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury that has caused him problems throughout the 2024 season.

It is understood he will undergo the procedure sometime this week and return before Christmas to resume light training, with Penrith traveling to Las Vegas for their NRL season opener against Cronulla Sharks on the first weekend of March.

Cleary has since revealed his relationship with Fowler

“I loved it, it’s everything I could have ever dreamed of having a partner, to be honest,” he told Channel Nine’s Marlee and Me podcast.

“It’s added a new perspective, but it’s also added an extra layer: when things go well, you want to share it with them and talk about it… and when things don’t go well, they’re there too.

“She’s super supportive and I absolutely loved it. It’s just a great addition to life, to be honest, and it’s made me very happy. Love conquers.’
