PLAY TEAMSHEET: Can YOU remember the Leeds team that beat Liverpool 4-3 – with all four goals coming from one star striker?

Welcome back for another team sheet. Today we go back to 2000, during better times for Leeds United fans.

Leeds versus Liverpool was a huge match in the race for the top four and possibly even the title, with Elland Road playing host to a classic between the two teams. But one man in particular stood out, scoring four for the hosts, helping the side secure a 4-3 victory.

We want to know if you can remember the home team that day. Full instructions on how to play can be found at the bottom of the article and in the game itself – and be sure to check back tomorrow!

Good luck!

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to score as few points possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you score one point – i.e. the lowest score for guessing each player on the first try is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the correct position and it turns green. Guess a correct letter, but in the wrong position, and it turns yellow.

You have six guesses for each player – and if you fail, we reveal their identity for 11 points! You can also ask for a free letter, but it will cost you a point.

So play on to see if you can score the best possible total of 11 – or fail with each player and score 121.
