Taylor Swift snubs Kamala Harris’s closing election rally as it clashes with Monday Night Football

Taylor Swift will not perform at a Kamala Harris event on Monday night, fueling speculation that she will cheer on Travis Kelce in Kansas City.

Kelce and the Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arrowhead Stadium as Harris conducts her final campaign event before Tuesday’s presidential election.

After publicly supporting the Democratic nominee in September, rumors are swirling that Swift will attend or perform at the rally in Pennsylvania this week.

Yet according to Garrett Haake of NBC Newsthe pop megastar is not listed as a musical guest for Harris’ final campaign events before the election.

Instead, the likes of Fat Joe, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry will appear, seemingly leaving Swift free to attend Kelce and the Chiefs’ game against the Bucs.

After wrapping up the final Eras Tour concerts in Indianapolis on Sunday evening, she won’t perform again in Toronto until November 14.

Taylor last saw Travis in action on October 7, when Kansas City continued their flawless start to the season with a win over the New Orleans Saints in Arrowhead.

She also attended the first two games against the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Swift set the internet on fire by endorsing Harris in an impassioned Instagram post months after the all-important election.

With a photo of her and her cat, the singer wrote in September: ‘I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a fighter to defend. I think she is a steadfast, gifted leader and I believe we can achieve so much more in this country if we allow ourselves to be guided by calm and not chaos.

“I was so encouraged and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”

In a reference to Trump’s running mate JD Vance, she closed the post by writing, “With love and hope, Taylor Swift – Childless Cat Lady.”

Despite her clear support for Harris and the Democrats, it appears Swift will not be heading to Pennsylvania to personally support her favorite election candidate.

A number of pop stars have attended Harris rallies in recent months to support her, including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B.
