Celebrity stylist who called MAFS couple’s Halloween costume ‘tone deaf’ dresses as Diddy’s baby oil

Celebrity stylist Jamie Azzopardi has criticized Married At First Sight lovebirds Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James for their ‘tone deaf’ choice of Halloween costumes.

But eyebrows were raised over the weekend when he hosted a Halloween event at a Sydney nightclub dressed as a bottle of Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs baby oil.

“Tonight DJ Helena Ellis and I are going to a hip-hop inspired Halloween party and our outfits are bold and current!” Jamie teased in a post shared to Instagram Stories on Friday.

“Any idea what we’re going to do?”

For the Halloween party at Albion Fridays, Jamie and Helena coordinated a duo costume in the form of a bottle of baby oil and J. Lo.

In photos shared to Instagram Stories, Jamie showed off a white T-shirt with a printed image of a cartoonish baby oil bottle with the word ‘Diddy’ written on it and posed with the Australian DJ, who carried a handmade bag with the same ‘Diddy’ on it. Oil’.

“You’re right and Helena was J.Lo the night she hid the gun,” Jamie captioned a mirror selfie of the pair posing together before the party.

It came after Identity Sydney criticized Evelyn and Duncan’s decision to dress up as each other for the second time in a row during the holiday.

Jamie said the MAFS couple’s choice to recreate their Logies 2023 outfits, calling it ‘scary’, was insulting.

“I love Duncan and Evelyn and I know he has strange friends and family so this move was out of character for them,” Jamie told the Ny Breaking last week.

‘I don’t think either of them are homophobic. That’s not my point. But if you say, ‘This is scary,’ you’re making fun of people like me.”

A concerned Ny Breaking reader, who attended the event at the Albion Hotel on Friday, said she was ‘deeply disturbed’ by Jamie’s decision to dress up as Diddy’s ‘baby oil’.

“It is disturbing to see someone who so easily criticizes others choose to portray a person of color facing serious allegations, including allegations of sexual assault and human trafficking,” the reader wrote.

“There have been recent allegations in particular involving P Diddy and a 10-year-old boy that are absolutely horrific.

“How can Jamie hold others accountable for their choices while ignoring the implications of their own actions?”

The indictment unsealed against Diddy alleged that federal raids on his mansions in Miami and Los Angeles led to the discovery of more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube.

It is alleged that the rapper would coerce and manipulate victims into participating in days-long sexual performances, which he called “freak offs.”

Diddy’s associates allegedly gave the victims drugs to keep them compliant and made threats against anyone who refused to cooperate, in claims similar to those in a civil lawsuit filed by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie last year.

JLo and Diddy were one of the most high-profile couples of the late 1990s and early 1990s, dating between 1999 and 2001.

DJ Helena wore a white top, headband and jeans for her Jennifer Lopez costume, paired with a handmade bag made from the same baby oil bottle.

When contacted by Ny Breaking, Evelyn claimed she saw nothing wrong or offensive about her and Duncan’s costume.

“I’m sorry, but your partner who looks like you is creepy!!!” she said.

In the conclusion of his lengthy response, Duncan wrote to Jamie: “I think we should always take into account all genders and all people who live on this planet.
