The recommended daily calorie intake is 2,000 calories per day for women and 2,500 for men.

To build muscle, you would need to eat more calories than your body burns in a day — that’s usually over 1,800 calories.

Previously, Chontel shared how she often finds her children’s nutrition more important than her own – something other parents have to deal with.

‘As a busy mom, food is the first thing I sacrifice. I can easily forget to eat for the first half of the day, leaving me starving like a wild animal in the afternoon. Which then leads to me consuming my entire body weight in food,” she wrote on Instagram.

OR I buy some sugary, processed foods from the coffee drive-through.

“My goal is to get back into a routine, prioritize my needs and fuel my body, especially while living on minimal sleep.”
