Aaron Rodgers mocks celebrities over political endorsements ‘bought and paid for by China’ ahead of election
Aaron Rodgers has launched a brutal attack on celebrities expressing political support after claiming they were ‘bought and paid for by China’.
The race for the White House is finally nearing its end, as America will decide between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for president on Tuesday.
In the months leading up to the election, each candidate has received public support from several prominent figures, who have backed them with strong political statements, either on social media or at rallies and conferences.
Harris has support from the likes of Taylor Swift, LeBron James and Robert Downey Jr., while Elon Musk, Hulk Hogan and Mike Tyson have all indicated they will vote for Trump on Tuesday.
During his last performance op The Pat McAfee ShowRodgers revealed that he has registered to vote in New Jersey, despite not confirming which candidate he will choose.

And while jokingly calling the election the “trade deadline” — since it takes place on the same day the NFL’s trade window closes — the New York Jets quarterback mocked celebrities who showed their support on social media.
“If you don’t know what to do at the trade deadline, just ask your favorite celebrity,” he said. “My favorite is when the celebrity is bought and paid for by China.”
Rodgers then criticized the current Biden-Harris administration for its decision to send billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine, giving a strong hint as to which way he will vote on Tuesday.
“I don’t have a problem with Ukraine at all, I just think there are a lot of problems in the United States where maybe $180 billion could help instead of waging a proxy war,” the four-time NFL MVP continued.
“You know, just like natural disasters, and there’s FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] is confiscating water bottles and food supplies from people trying to help, maybe let’s help those people.
“And obviously FEMA doesn’t have the best track record if you go back to 2005 and Katrina, but I think there are a lot of problems in the United States, and there are injured people who could use more than $600, $700.”

LeBron James became the latest sports figure to throw his support behind Harris on Wednesday, with the basketball legend sharing a controversial anti-Trump video on Instagram.
He captioned the post: “What are we even talking about here? When I think about my children and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE FOR KAMALA HARRIS!!!’
The video shared by LeBron shows comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who was invited to speak at a recent Trump rally, making a racist comment about him and a black friend “cutting watermelons together,” as well as Trump declaring in an old interview that ‘may be hate speech’. is what we need’.
It also features aggressive sound bites from the Republican leader, played over footage of civil rights protests and violations spanning decades.
However, LeBron is now facing a backlash for his endorsement of Harris and his attack on Trump, which fans claim are “stitched together.”
One user posted in the comments section: ‘From your biggest fan, mashing together a bunch of unrelated sound bites into these racially charged videos is sad propaganda and embarrassing work. You should be ashamed.
“There’s so much real content you could have posted to get your message across that you didn’t have to make this story up. I’m embarrassed that my goat posted this.
Another commented: “King, these have all been taken out of context.”
“No, this isn’t it,” a third replied to James. “Taking speeches out of context and juxtaposing them with racist historical events is a classic Democratic move.”
