Blonde icon Pamela Anderson left the beautiful shores of Malibu several years ago for a quieter life.
The Baywatch star found her new home on a remote island in Canada, where she grew up.
And the 57-year-old bombshell told it WWD.com Tuesday about why she left the glamor of California.
“I think it’s a homecoming, I guess you could say, to really look at my life and remember who I was — not what other people told me I was,” the Stacked star shared.
“And I didn’t want anything that happened to me to define me,” the Playboy cover girl added.”

She grew up in a small cabin in Ladysmith, a picturesque west coast town with a charming waterfront.
Pamela attended Highland Secondary School in Comox, British Columbia, where she played volleyball. She graduated in 1985.
The siren moved to Los Angeles after working for Playboy magazine.

She spoke to WWD.com to promote her new beauty product. Anderson’s new cleanser for her Sonsie Skin line is inspired by her rose garden.
The ex-wife of Tommy Lee and Kid Rock co-founded the vegan beauty brand earlier this year.

And her latest product to hit the market is the Cleansing Mousse – a foaming facial cleanser designed for sensitive skin.
It is formulated with rose hip essence, inspired by flowers growing in Pamela’s garden at her home in Canada.
She told WWD.com, “I start every day when I’m home in my rose garden, so I thought, ‘How do I bring that in?’ I do make a rosehip oil, and I wanted to bring that into the skin care line…

‘When I started working at the Sonsie Group, I really wanted to apply my life lessons.
“And I wanted to apply things I’ve learned along the way: accepting where you are in your beauty journey.
“And I felt like the rose garden was a very grounding message for me, because I kind of rediscovered myself in the rose garden.”
Pamela has not used make-up in recent years and now takes good care of her skin, but she is adamant that her daily routine is not particularly fussy.
She told Bustle, “I feel comfortable enough to wear just the skin care on the go.” Since I’ve been doing that, I’ve been taking more time for myself.

‘If it’s in the evening, I take a bath, read a book and put on my three little products. It’s not a big, complicated skincare routine.
‘It’s just light-hearted.
“I love the intention with skin care. I like that the scents are transporting and uplifting. Happiness is a choice.
“I like to bring all of that into the product line because when you do this, you should look at yourself in the mirror and know that you are beautiful just the way you are.”
