Kyle Sandilands and his fiancée Tegan Kynaston have been talking about having a second child just two months after they welcomed son Otto.

The radio host, 51, revealed on Tuesday that he would like to have another baby with the communications manager, but they have some reservations.

“We’ve discussed having another one over the weekend. But just because the first child was a breeze doesn’t mean the second will be too,” he said. The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

His co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, mother of 11-year-old Kitty, told Kyle she’d heard from other moms that having a second child is often more work than the first.

“Most people say that if you have a good first, your second will be hard work,” she said.

Jackie then suggested that a second child as soon as possible would make things easier by going ‘back to back’.

It comes after Kyle recently admitted that he’d never dreamed of having kids before, but was now “excited” that he’d decided to take the plunge and become a father.

At the height of his partying in the late 2000s, the KIIS FM personality suffered from drug addiction and battled depression.

The controversy magnet, once warned by doctors that his lifestyle would send him to an early grave, now spends his nights with his newborn son.

“I used to watch TV for hours, now I just sit and watch him and he really is a delight,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

Despite fatherhood making him softer, the outspoken star promises viewers won’t get politically correct Kyle when he returns to screens as a judge on the upcoming Australian Idol reboot.

“Oh my god, are you kidding?” he scoffed when asked if he’d let current waking culture stifle his famously unfiltered persona in the family-friendly show.
