Satisfying way deli clerk scares off knife-wielding bandit

Mine is bigger than yours!

A deli clerk in Argentina sent a knife-wielding bandit fleeing Thursday after brandishing an even larger knife at the would-be robber.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect walking up to the deli counter and pulling out a knife in the town of Cipolletti in northern Patagonia.

We see him flash the knife and walk around the corner of the counter before stepping back and putting the knife in his pants.

The suspect then headed for the exit when, as the video showed, the satisfied clerk emerged brandishing a much larger knife with a smile on her face.

Social media users immediately fell in love with the clerk after the video went viral

One even went so far as to contact the deli in hopes of connecting with the worker on social media to set up a possible date after falling in love with her “psychotic smile.”

Another user posted a still image of the grinning clerk and said, “I’m going to call my mom and tell her I’ve fallen in love.”

Others called on the store’s management to compensate the employee for stopping the crime.

“I think that girl deserves a raise, or at least a bonus,” one person said.

According to police sources, the deli has not filed an incident report.

The suspect was still on the run on Friday morning.
