Young Aussie left fighting for life after horror motorbike accident in Bali
A young Australian has been hospitalized for life with serious brain injuries after a horrific motorcycle accident in Bali.
Dylan suffered “extensive and life-threatening injuries” in the October 29 crash and is currently on life support in a Balinese hospital.
He will undergo critical surgery to remove a large blood clot, putting pressure on his brain, as his desperate family works to bring him home.
A GoFundMe was created to help with the cost of Dylan’s surgery, which is estimated to be more than $40,000.
The campaign raised over $120,000 in just 24 hours.
“Dylan may be able to come home after this surgery and that would be a hugely positive step for him and his family,” organizer Steven Brown wrote.
“But bringing him home will cost between $50,000 and $100,000, so your donations to help with this mean a lot to us.
‘We really want our beautiful, kind son and brother to come home alive.’

The latest photo shows him strapped to several tubes in a hospital bed, where it is believed he will be prepared for surgery.
Mr Brown expressed his thanks to those who had donated, with a special mention to an anonymous donor who contributed $40,000.
‘To all donors so far and to the big anonymous donor. “We are in tears of gratitude for your generosity,” he said.
