McFly’s Danny Jones ‘set to star in I’m A Celebrity’ – following in footsteps of bandmate Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher’s wife Giovanna
McFly’s Danny Jones is ‘in talks to star in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’.
The 38-year-old hitmaker, who also serves as a co-judge on The Voice alongside bandmate Tom Fletcher, is reportedly heading into the jungle.
Danny could follow in the footsteps and take home the winner’s title as McFly drummer Dougie Poynter was crowned King Of The Jungle in 2011, while Tom’s wife Giovanna Fletcher was crowned Queen Of The Jungle in 2020.
According to new reports, Danny is preparing to fly to Australia next weekend ahead of the launch later in November.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Danny is already hugely popular and very good looking – female viewers will be picking him up.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for ITV and Danny for comment.
The Voice ended last week, just in time for Danny’s impending jungle appearance later this year.
Mentors Danny and Tom bought Ava Mannings through to the final, where she was crowned winner of The Voice 2024.
Meanwhile, Coleen Rooney is one of the big names thrown into the mix for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
She had wanted to take part in the show for years, but only recently felt confident enough to leave her family in Britain.
Reports claim she has been offered the biggest deal in the show’s history, surpassing Nigel Farage’s £1.5million last year.
It is also thought she will get the ‘ultimate revenge’ by signing on, with her arch rival, Rebekah Vardy, being eliminated early in the 2017 series.
Rebekah apparently has no plans to watch Coleen’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity, unless it’s to catch her in a stomach-churning Bushtucker Trial.
She is said to have made it clear that she is not particularly interested in watching Coleen, but that she would listen if she knew she would be eating something disgusting.

A source said The sun: ‘Coleen was whining during the trial, claiming she was such a private person, and now she’s on one of the most watched shows on television.’
While Rebekah may not be an avid viewer, her legal team would be paying close attention to anything that might be said.
Fans are desperate for Coleen to spill the beans on the Wagatha Christie drama on the reality show, but it’s reported she’s not taking any chances.
Rebekah is said to be on high alert and wants to remind ITV bosses and the show’s presenters, Ant and Dec, that she owns the trademark of the phrase Wagatha Christie.
Becky and Coleen have a long-standing feud, which escalated into the infamous ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial.
Coleen accused her fellow WAG of leaking private information about her to the press, with this month marking five years since the viral post hit the center of the queue.
In 2019, Coleen publicly claimed that Ms Vardy’s account was the source behind three stories in the Sun newspaper containing false details that she had posted on her private Instagram profile.
These related to her trip to Mexico for a “gender selection” procedure, plans to return to television and the flooding of the basement at her home.

It is also thought she will get the ‘ultimate revenge’ by signing on, with her arch rival, Rebekah Vardy (pictured), being eliminated early in the 2017 series.
Following the high-profile trial, Ms Steyn ruled in Coleen’s favor in July 2022, ruling that the post was ‘substantially true’.
Rebekah was later ordered to pay 90 percent of Coleen’s legal costs, with an initial payment of £800.00.
Coleen will have the full support in the jungle from friend and football legend Ally McCoist, with the former Rangers and Scotland footballer also set to take part.
Ally, 62, is said to have cheered on Coleen during the Wagatha trial and waded into the drama at the time, admitting he would ‘love to be a fly on the wall’ in Jamie Vardy’s dressing room at Leicester City.
Speaking on his talkSPORT breakfast show at the time of the explosive legal battle, he said: ‘If they are men at all they will run straight into him. You would love to be a fly on the wall in that locker room.”
