New York Jets star placed on injury list hours before Thursday night game vs Houston Texans
The New York Jets have been hit with the news that Allen Lazard has been placed on the injured list, hours before they host the Houston Texans on Thursday night.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Lazard has a pectoral injury. He will miss at least four games.
Aaron Rodgers and his team look to jump-start their season against the Texans on Thursday night, but are currently 2-6 on the season.
They lost to the New England Patriots on Sunday and have a tough task to emerge victorious against the Texans and CJ Stroud.
In addition to Thursday’s Texans game, Lazard will also miss the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks.

Rodgers and the Jets will try to snap a five-game losing streak on Thursday night after their season hit a new low in the loss to the Patriots.
The quarterback is dealing with some injury issues himself.
He was struggling with an ankle injury and a painful knee, while he was limited for a day during training last week due to hamstring problems.
“I take care of myself non-stop,” he said. “And if you watch the game (against the Patriots), you know, I only got hit a couple of times.
‘I was fired once. I didn’t really move much. That was probably part of it. But I expect to be able to do much, much more this week.’
