A BBC Radio 1 star has revealed her pregnancy live on air.
Katie Thistleton left her co-stars Mollie King and Matt Edmondson stunned when she opened up about how she was expecting her first child with her husband Alex.
The 35-year-old announced her happy news while hosting a quiz for her colleagues, leaving Mollie and Matt speechless from the surprise.
She said: ‘I have a question for you and it is: What is the last message you received on WhatsApp. So if you would all like to open your WhatsApps, please.”
As the pair then expressed their shock, KatIe explained: ‘I just sent Matt and Mollie a scan photo and a message saying Alex and I are having a baby. I was so afraid that would go wrong, just like the WiFi would ‘don’t send it.’

Saturdays star Mollie, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Stuart Broad, was particularly excited by the news, with Katie revealing she wanted to spill the beans to her fellow mum-to-be.
She shared, “I mean, oh my god Mollie, I really wanted to talk to you about this.
‘There was a day you walked past us and I thought ‘how are you2’ and you thought ‘I’ve been so sick’ and I thought ‘Me too, I’m so sick but I can’t . just tell someone.’ But hey, I’m due in March, so not that far behind you really.’
Following the sweet radio announcement, Katie took to Instagram to confirm her happy news with a sweet video montage.
