Fantasy football owners fume at Christian McCaffrey’s Halloween costume with wife Olivia Culpo
Christian McCaffrey’s Halloween whereabouts sparked outrage among fantasy football owners after his wife Olivia Culpo posted their costumes.
On Wednesday, Culpo posted videos of her and the San Francisco 49ers star dressed as Dorothy and Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz, respectively. They also let their dog, Oliver Sprinkles, become Toto.
Although the couple looked cheerful in their outfits, fantasy football team owners were not happy with the videos.
“I’m 2-6 in fantasy because my first overall pick is hurt and dressed as the Tin Man,” one user commented.
“That was my first pick in fantasy, and I can safely say I’ve been depressed after eight weeks of fantasy gameplay,” said another.

“CMC I’ve been on ir with him for the past eight weeks,” a third chimed in, referring to McCaffrey’s impersonation of the character — which included a blank facial expression.
McCaffrey has yet to play this season due to bilateral Achilles tendonitis. Hilariously, the running back walked stiffly and stayed in character for Culpo’s TikTok videos.
Although fans joked that he was being held against his will, the 49ers star enjoyed Culpo’s antics as he smiled and kissed her at one point.
With his last game being the Super Bowl loss to Kansas City in February, the 28-year-old is expected to return as early as Week 10. His potential first game could be Nov. 17 at home against the Sea Hawks.

Without McCaffrey, San Francisco is 4-4 to start the season but remains atop the NFC West. The 49ers have beaten the Jets, Patriots, Seahawks and Cowboys.
On the other hand, they lost to the Vikings, Rams, Cardinals and Chiefs.
McCaffrey and Culpo first sparked dating rumors in 2019 when the then-Carolina Panthers star liked one of the model’s Instagram posts. They got engaged in April 2023 and married on June 29, 2014.
