Liam Payne’s posthumous single Do No More release date is postponed after fans break down in tears over unseen clip of the singer listening to his track: ‘It’s not the time yet’

The release date of Liam Payne’s unreleased song with Grammy winner Sam Pounds was postponed on Tuesday.

A video of the former One Direction star singing the unreleased song Do No More was posted online earlier today.

The unseen clip was shared by Sam, who worked with Liam on the new song, shortly before his shocking death earlier this month.

Do No More was set to be released this Friday and is the first posthumous song to be shared with his fans since his death.

However, Sam has now gone to X to announce that the release would be postponed because “we are all still grieving.”

He wrote: “Today I choose to ‘Do No Wrong’ and leave these freedoms to all family members. I want all proceeds to go to a charity of their choice (or however they choose).

“Even though we all love the song, it’s not the right time yet.

“We all continue to mourn Liam’s passing and I want the family to rise in peace and prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds.’

Several fans rushed to the comments to thank Sam for sticking with the single’s release and respecting his family.

Liam had collaborated on Do No Wrong with North Carolina singer Sam before his death, and three versions of the song would eventually be released, including a live mix and an a cappella single.

Earlier today, Sam shared a snippet of their song to his Instagram grid, alongside a clip of himself and Liam listening to the song together.

He shared the post with his 1 million followers and wrote: ‘Yes I see the reports but I knew your heart. Filmed by @roo0990. @liampayne originally wanted to talk to us and @chrisbrownofficial about this. A musical moment & tribute to @liampayne.’

Sam recently revealed to his Instagram followers that Liam wanted Chris Brown to appear on Do Know Wrong.
