Elon Musk shells out $35 million on multi-mansion Texas estate for his ELEVEN children
Elon Musk has shelled out $35 million on a sprawling property in Texas so his various exes and eleven children can live together, according to insiders.
The billionaire reportedly bought the multi-mansion estate in Austin with his growing family in mind, hoping that the youngest of his children could easily grow up together.
Four insiders told us New York Times that Musk bought the 140-square-foot mansion so his family could live in “adjacent properties,” allowing him to “schedule time” for his youngest children.
And while it’s unclear whether all of Musk’s exes are on board, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk’s brain tech startup Neuralink, has reportedly already moved into one of the mansions on the Austin property.
Zilis and Musk welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, two years ago, and a third child born earlier this year.

The world’s richest man often warns that depopulation is one of the “greatest threats” to the world, and has built his $270 billion fortune largely on renewability.
This recently saw his rocket company SpaceX successfully capture its Starship rocket with giant mechanical arms, while his electric car company Tesla has become the world’s most valuable car company.
Musk recently moved to Pennsylvania in hopes of helping Donald Trump retake the White House, but sources told the Times that when he is in Texas, he often lives in a mansion a 10-minute walk from his planned family compound.
The $35 million Austin estate is reportedly designed in the style of Tuscan villas and includes a main house and at least one six-bedroom mansion behind it.
Musk’s plan was reportedly to have all three of his children’s mothers move to the enclave along with his 11 children, but his tumultuous home life means some family members may not want to participate.
Musk made headlines in 2022 when he welcomed his tenth and eleventh children with Zilis, to whom he reportedly donated sperm
Musk reportedly hopes his ex Claire Boucher, known as the musician Grimes, will live in the compound with their three children, but the former couple are locked in a bitter custody battle.
This includes Musk’s transgender daughter Vivian Wilson, 20, who changed her name and said she wanted “nothing to do” with her father because they had a public falling out.
Elon may have buried their relationship earlier this year, claiming his “son” was “killed by the woke mind virus” when explaining his support for Donald Trump.
And although Zilis has already moved into one of the houses with her children, Musk’s other exes have not yet responded.
Claire Boucher, the musician better known as Grimes, is embroiled in a bitter custody battle with the billionaire that could delay any move to Texas.
The former couple made headlines four years ago when they welcomed a son and named him X AE A-XII. They have since had a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, and a 2-year-old son, Tau Techno Mechanicus.

The richest man in the world shares five adult children with his first wife Justine Musk
The birth of Musk’s most recent children in 2022 also caused an apparent family rift when Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, became pregnant with twins.
It later emerged that Musk had donated sperm to Zilis via IVF, in the same way Musk welcomed his children with his first wife Justine Musk, and that Zilis was pregnant at the same time Grimes was expecting her second child with Musk.
Grimes reportedly only found out that Musk was the father of Zilis’ children a month after the birth, and Elon reportedly made matters worse by giving up a name they had chosen for their daughter – Valkyrie – and giving it to one of Zilis’ twins, sources told the Times.
Musk also has adult children with his first wife, Justine Musk, including Vivian, Vivian’s twin brother Griffin, both 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, all 18.
In 2002, a baby also tragically died when he was just ten weeks old.
While Elon may be looking to the future and his next generation of descendants for his Austin complex, sources told the Times that “there is room” for his adult children if they want to visit.
