Moment crazed driver runs man over TWICE and sends his friend flying in deadly car attack
Shocking footage showed a crazed driver repeatedly running over a man with his car before plowing into the victim’s friend on a Brazilian street.
Surveillance video captured the second driver, Cristian dos Santos, 28, and Gustavo Francisco, 26, on Saturday in the city of Campinas in São Paulo.
The driver is seen reversing into Francisco and dragging him under the tires before the victim’s friend rushes over to help.
Dos Santos is then shown speeding towards the couple, missing Francisco but hitting his unidentified 34-year-old friend, who was lifted onto the hood of the car before being thrown away.

Moments later, dos Santos accelerated again toward Francisco, slamming his car into the man and crushing him beneath it.
Francisco and his friend were rushed to a local medical facility, where Francisco died. His injured friend remained in hospital.
Dos Santos was eventually arrested by São Paulo military police, claiming he acted in self-defense after an argument with Francisco and his friend.
Dos Santos claimed that one of the two men pulled out a gun and fired a shot into the air.
Gustavo Francisco was on the ground when he was hit by the driver another time
Cristian dos Santos stormed out of his car after running over Gustavo Francisco three times. Dos Santos told São Paulo civilian police that he acted in self-defense because Francisco or his friend fired a shot in the air after an argument.
Gustavo Francisco was 26 years old
Security camera footage inspected by São Paulo Civilian Police did not show either man firing a weapon.
“So far no firearm has been found, as the defendant claims,” civilian police said in a report obtained by Brazilian news channel G1.
‘Even if there was a firearm, the images show that the driver was not faced with a current or immediate threat and that he could have driven away with his vehicle. Therefore, the exclusion of illegality applies in principle. of self-defense was not verified.”
Dos Santos is charged with murder and attempted murder.
