A British woman has died after traveling to Turkey to undergo gastric band surgery.
Hayley Butler, 40, reportedly died due to complications during surgery after returning to Britain. reports the Eastern Daily Press.
Her family have now paid tribute to the groomer, with Butler’s devastated mother, Gillian Moore, saying: ‘Hayley was the most cheerful, caring person – she was always worried about other people.
‘I’m devastated. She was my soulmate, my friend and my rock.
‘My life will never be the same without her.’

Butler was the owner of Diva Dogs, a successful dog grooming business in the Shipfield area of Norwich.
Jessica Carter describes her friend and colleague as follows: ‘There is so much to say about Hayley that it is impossible to put it all into words.
“She was just unapologetically Hayley.
‘She was great at her job and so knowledgeable. I have been a groomer for 10 years and have learned a lot from her.
‘But she wasn’t just any dog groomer, she was very funny, she was smart, she was bubbly, she had an infectious laugh and could make anyone laugh.
‘It’s a shock to everyone: she was so young and it feels so cruel.
Customers of Butler’s also shared their tributes on social media following her tragic death.
One said: ‘There are people in this world who make everything seem better, Hayley was one of them.
“She was always smiling and we were usually giggling about something or other.
“She was kind to our furry girls and to us.
‘I feel lucky to have met Hayley, it is a privilege to have known such a kind person.’
It currently remains unclear when the death occurred, but Diva Dogs’ social media account reported that Butler would be away from the salon between mid-September and October 14.
