KFC Australia announces the return of its ‘most popular burger ever’ after removing it from the menu: ‘Best news of 2024’
KFC Australia has announced the return of its popular Tower Burger – and released two more items in its super-sized range.
The Tower Burger, which briefly returned to stores in 2023 after a two-year hiatus, is the most popular burger on the menu and consists of a crispy fillet, spicy tomato sauce, a classic slice of cheese, mayonnaise, fresh lettuce and a hash brown .
KFC Australia’s Group Marketing Director Sally Spriggs confirmed that fans are constantly asking them to bring back the burger and have demanded a ‘super-sized option’.
This led the popular fast food retailer to come up with its tallest tower yet: the Tower Stacker.
The huge burger has two original chicken tenders and the signature hash brown in the middle.
They also released a ‘lighter’ option, the Tower Twister, with chicken strips and a hash brown.
The Tower Burger and the brand new Tower Stacker and Tower Twister will be available from Tuesday, October 29 to Monday, November 25 at participating KFC restaurants nationwide.
However, according to the store’s post, those in Wollongong will be the only ones who will miss the launch this time.

“The king is back,” said one fan.
“About time, but it needs to be back on the regular menu,” said another.
But some weren’t so impressed with the old Tower Burger.
‘Is it actually a tower? The last one I had looked more like a bungalow,” one man said.
“This is the halfway point,” said another.
People took the opportunity to request their other favorites in the post.
Many demanded BLT Twisters, the Works burger and even giant snack packs.
However, it was Krushers that were the most requested item: the chain’s popular frozen dessert drinks.
‘Why can you listen to the people? We want Krushers back,” someone exclaimed.
This was echoed by six others who shared similar comments.
“Krushers or nothing,” said another.
