The Monster Hunter Wilds The beta will allow players to try out the game before its release next year. There are a variety of missions you can take on, from a small part of a story mission to repeatable monster hunts. All in all, it looks like it will give players a good chance to experience some of the new weapon mechanics and see the new environments in action.

From what we’ve seen so far, and from what we played in our Monster Hunter Wilds preview, the game is poised to push the series forward, with evolving landscapes and more complex monster behavior. This time you can take multiple weapons with you on the hunt, a huge change that will likely allow for more building experiments. It is these kinds of changes that make us hopeful Monster Hunter Wilds will land on our list of best crossplay games by the end of the year.
