Elon Musk’s son X dons customized MAGA hat at Trump rally as billionaire claims he can cut $2 TRILLION of waste from federal budget

Elon Musk showed up to Donald Trump’s blockbuster Manhattan rally with his four-year-old son, who wore a custom red MAGA hat that read: “Make Voting Great Again.”

His son, whose full name is X Æ A-Xii, was also seen holding a Trump Vance sign with his father’s name on it during the five-hour event at Madison Square Garden.

The youngster, who was pictured next to former First Lady Melania Trump in one photo, was born on May 4, 2020 and is one of the Tesla CEO’s three children with singer Grimes.

Recently, Musk has become one of Trump’s most prominent surrogates and fundraisers, speaking glowingly about the GOP nominee at multiple rallies and donating $75 million to his own pro-Trump super PAC.

On Sunday, he thrilled the crowd of about 20,000 people by telling them he could cut at least $2 trillion in wasteful spending from the federal budget if Trump became president.

“Your money is being wasted,” Musk said on stage. “We’re going to get the government off of you and out of your pockets.”

Howard Lutnick – chairman and CEO of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, who also leads the Trump 2024 Transition Team – introduced the X owner on stage at the end of his speech.

Lutnick said Musk would soon become the head of a newly created Department of Government Efficiency, an agency whose initials spell out DOGE, the cryptocurrency Musk once promoted.

Before handing over the lectern to the world’s richest man, Lutnick asked Musk, “How much do you think we can get out of this wasted $6.5 trillion Harris-Biden budget?”

“I think we can donate at least $2 trillion,” Musk replied, drawing cheers from the crowd.

The federal government spent $6.75 trillion in fiscal year 2024 but collected only $4.92 trillion in revenue, leaving a $1.83 trillion deficit, according to the report. Finance Department.

Musk’s cuts would shrink the budget by almost a third and would be more than this year’s budget deficits.

Strangely enough, Musk’s companies received Tesla and Space X billions of dollars in federal contracts from the government.

During his speech, Musk also reiterated what he said about his “dark MAGA” at the rally Trump held in early October in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the Republican candidate was shot by a would-be assassin months earlier.

“I’m dark, goth MAGA!” Musk shouted into the microphone while donning a black MAGA hat.

Musk is getting a primetime spot at the latest Trump rally as he faces criticism and possible investigation over his daily $1 million giveaway to registered voters in swing states.

The random lottery began on October 19 and is offered to those who signed his petition in support of free speech and gun rights.

The seven-figure prize was first won by three Republican voters from Pennsylvania, all of whom proudly posed with their oversized show checks.

However, Musk halted the giveaway in Pennsylvania after warnings from the Department of Justice.

According to multiple reports, the DOJ has sent a letter notifying Musk’s America PAC that its lottery may violate federal law.

Speculation abounded that his election contest would hit roadblocks at the eleventh hour, with many pointing out that it is illegal to give away money to sway voters or get them to register to vote.

Warnings from the DOJ and calls for investigations from both Democrats and Republicans have not yet deterred Musk, who on Friday handed out another $1 million to Brian Bauer, a Wisconsin teacher.

After Musk’s speech concluded, he introduced Melania, who spoke for five minutes.

“New York City and America need their magic back,” she told the crowd after taking the stage.

Melania, wearing a black and white animal print jacket, then introduced the former president. The couple hugged and exchanged kisses on the cheek.

Trump’s latest rally had many highs, but his critics latched on to Tony Hinchcliffe’s shocking joke

Sunday’s meeting in deep blue New York City featured speeches from J.D. Vance, Dr. Phil, Hulk Hogan, Dana White, Tucker Carlson and members of the Trump family.

The speaker list included diehard MAGA fans lining up outside Madison Square Garden just before dawn, hours before the doors were set to open.

The sold-out event took place just nine days before what could be the closest presidential election in history.

While there were many notable moments throughout, including Trump’s comments about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “went crazy on the health front” or said presidents “have a great chance of dying,” the former president’s critics latched onto a joke told by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.

Hinchcliffe, one of the hosts of the Kill Tony podcast, took to the stage and said: ‘There is literally a floating island of rubbish in the middle of the ocean at the moment. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.’

The statement drew a muted response from the crowd at the time, with celebrities and even Republican politicians condemning Hinchcliffe.

Two Florida Republicans have rejected the joke, including Sen. Rick Scott.

‘This joke was bombed for a reason. It’s not funny and it’s not true. Puerto Ricans are great people and great Americans! I have been to the island many times. It’s a beautiful place,” Scott wrote.

‘Everyone should visit! I will always do what I can to help every Puerto Rican in Florida or on the island.”
