Aussie star unrecognisable as they dress up as AFL player Bailey Smith for Halloween

Courtney Act looked unrecognizable as she transformed into AFL star Bailey Smith for Halloween this weekend.

The Australian drag queen, 42, ditched her usual dolled-up look as she bore an uncanny resemblance to the sports star.

The artist wore the AFL player’s former Western Bulldogs gear as she posed with her arms folded across her chest.

Courtney also wore a wig that resembled Smith’s iconic mullet and a mustache.

‘I can’t kick a goal, but I can serve a look. Career pivot alert! No, not for AFL – I’m a drag king now and I’m bringing Bailey Smith reality,” the photos were captioned.

‘If you don’t know @bazlenka, you’re welcome. He is every gay man’s favorite AFL player (he is also the only AFL player that gay men know).”

Many of Courtney’s fans and celebrity friends praised her for the “incredible” costume.

“This is incredible,” Sophie Monk wrote, while Imogen Anthony commented: “Fml, so GOOD.”

“You win Halloween 2024,” someone else said, while someone added, “You are THE BEST.”

‘OH MY GOD!! I actually thought it was him at first glance! You are amazing,” another agreed.

Courtney is Shane Jenek’s drag persona who first rose to fame on Australian Idol in 2003.

Earlier this year, the drag superstar left Sophie Monk and Joel Creasey at a loss for words when she delivered a zinger on The Hundred with Andy Lee.

The pride special episode took an unexpected turn when host Andy asked the gay-friendly panel about Australians’ nightclub habits.

“Next question: what have twenty-six percent of Australians been doing on the dance floor?” he asked.

However, neither Lee, nor Monk or Creasy, anticipated Act’s response.

‘Fucked?’ she responded to both loud laughter and shock.

Sophie seemed visibly disturbed by Courtney’s response.

“On a dance floor?” she screamed in fright. “I’m from Brisbane, I’m sorry,” Courtney snapped back.
