Is Nicole Kidman Hollywood’s ultimate cougar? Actress’s latest movie Babygirl sees her star opposite youngest love interest yet after string of roles with increasingly youthful male stars
Off-screen, she has been happily married to 56-year-old singer Keith Urban for twenty years.
But her on-screen alter egos are giving Nicole Kidman a reputation as the ultimate cougar.
The 57-year-old has been cast opposite a selection of increasingly youthful male stars. This year she was paired with Brian Tee, who is ten years her junior and her husband starred in the Amazon series Expats.
Then she was in the Netflix film A Family Affair alongside heartthrob Zac Efron, 37.
Ms. Kidman’s character Brooke Harwood, a widow, begins a relationship with a young actor, during which they romp with co-star Efron.

But it’s her latest film Babygirl, which hits theaters in December, that sees her star opposite her youngest toyboy yet. She plays a married corporate boss who falls in love with a kinky young intern, played by London-born Harris Dickinson, 28.
The nearly 30-year age difference makes him younger than her two eldest children, Bella, 31, and Connor, 29, who she adopted with ex-husband Tom Cruise, 62.
Dickinson, who co-starred with Efron in The Iron Claw, said he “pinched himself” to work with Ms Kidman.
He said: ‘I subtly kept asking her things like, ‘What was it like working with Stanley Kubrick?’ I was bothered by the fact that she is a monolithic figure in cinema.’
You’ll have to go back to 2020’s The Undoing, starring Hugh Grant, 64, to see Ms. Kidman with an older male love interest.
