Katie Price’s ex-fiance Carl Woods reveals how she REALLY broke both of her feet and ended up wheelchair bound back in 2020

Katie Price’s ex-fiancée Carl Wood has revealed how she actually broke both her feet in 2020 and ended up in a wheelchair.

The used car dealer, 35, and glamor model Katie, 46, started dating in 2020 after meeting in a kebab shop – and jetted off on holiday to Turkey just six weeks later to have veneer work done together.

When Katie returned from the trip, she was pushed around in a wheelchair by Carl, who had broken both her feet.

Katie initially said the injury happened at an amusement park, before changing her story and saying she was “pretending to be a horse” at the time of the accident.

But Carl has now claimed she broke her feet when she ran from the edge of a hotel car park and fell 7 meters after he confronted her about cheating on him with an England footballer.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Carl said he and Katie had been dating for four and six weeks when they decided to travel to Turkey together for the dental treatment.

“We had only been together six weeks but her suggestion was a success, everything with Katie moves very quickly,” Carl said.

One evening, while Carl was recovering from having his veneer work done, he claimed he caught Katie messaging a ‘very famous footballer who plays for England’ and trying to send him videos.

He said Katie was ‘very drunk’ so had been careless in hiding the messages – and that she went ‘wild’ after he confronted her.

“She ran out of the room and down the emergency exit stairs, across the hotel reception and straight into the hotel car park,” Carl said.

“She didn’t mean to, but she ran like crazy and went off the edge, she ran through a bush and the ground disappeared beneath her.”

It was this fall that, according to Carl, caused her broken feet, which the TV personality later had to undergo surgery for.

Carl and Katie’s relationship was on and off for three years before finally calling it quits in 2023.

Katie was registered as disabled when she fell 7.5 meters in the freak accident and had to undergo an eight-hour operation to rebuild her feet.

She told how she was in constant pain and ‘waddled like a duck’ when she tried to walk.

Speaking to The Sun about her injury, she said: ‘The doctors said I’m lucky I’m not dead.

‘I could have hit my head and I could have been paralyzed. I was lucky I landed on my feet.”

While discussing her injury on her YouTube channel at the time, Katie repeated her story that it happened while she was messing around.

She said: ‘The crazy me, at my age, should calm things down. Actually a stupid accident.

‘I ran and jumped over a wall, because it was a small shortcut, and I couldn’t really judge the height.

“I just fell weirdly on my ankles and broke the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and put pins in and all that. Since I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home.

‘It’s the most painful thing ever. When I tried to put on the cast, I screamed in pain. They said I wouldn’t be able to walk for three to six months.”
