Prince William to be joined by supermodels Heidi Klum and Winnie Harlow for Earthshot Prize ceremony in Cape Town (but Kate Middleton looks set to miss it)

Prince William will be joined by a star-studded line-up of supermodels and TV stars for his solo trip to South Africa to host the Earthshot Prize ceremony.

The Prince of Wales, 42, will head to Cape Town on November 6 to oversee the Earthshot Prize Awards, along with a host of famous faces including supermodels Heidi Klum and Winnie Harlow.

The Earthshot Prize is one of the heir apparent’s great ‘passion projects’ and aims to find and scale positive solutions to the climate crisis in five key areas: protecting and restoring nature, purifying our air, revitalizing our oceans, building a waste mountain Free the world and restore our climate.

Each year, the Prince awards £5 million in prize money to those who provide breakthrough solutions to the most pressing climate and environmental challenges facing the world today.

Prince William is expected to visit Cape Town without his wife Kate Middleton, who is prioritizing her recovery after completing chemotherapy this year.
