Mike Tyson sparks health fears with dramatic sparring video ahead of showdown with Jake Paul
Mike Tyson has released menacing sparring footage that has some fans fearing for Jake Paul ahead of their highly anticipated fight.
The former world heavyweight champion, 58, will take on YouTuber and boxer Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on November 15.
The fight was originally scheduled for July, but Tyson suffered a medical emergency on a plane. A “flare-up of an ulcer” left Tyson feeling nauseous and dizzy before paramedics later came on board.
But Tyson, once considered ‘the baddest man alive’, is back in training for the rescheduled clash – his first sanctioned fight in two decades.
Earlier this week, the 58-year-old posted a short clip of his sparring sessions. In the video, Tyson can be seen supporting his sparring partner against the ropes.

The former heavyweight champion then lands a left hook that sends his opponent slumping towards the canvas.
This prompted his trainer to stop sparring – much to the frustration of an excited Tyson.
“Are you sure?” shouts the 58-year-old. ‘I have a lot in me, I’m just getting started.’
Tyson is a huge underdog against Paul, who is more than thirty years younger than him. But the clip has some fight fans convinced that ‘Iron Mike’ could upset the odds.
“The passion in his voice tells me how bad he wants it,” one said.
“Imagine a world where 58-year-old Mike Tyson knocks out Jake Paul. It would be beautiful,” another added.
