Lamine Yamal has revealed he has had his brace adjusted in time for Barcelona’s El Clasico clash with Real Madrid.

El Clasico is perhaps the most famous football match in the world, with two of the best teams in the history of the game, Barca and Real, battling it out for Spain’s unofficial crown.

Over the years, the two bitter rivals have met a whopping 257 times in competitive matches, with Real Madrid narrowly leading with 105 wins to Barcelona’s 100.

This weekend’s clash sees the traditional top two face off again at the Santiago Bernabeu, with league leaders Barcelona looking for a huge win to confirm their status at the top of LaLiga.

And to get into the mood for the match, Barça’s Spanish prodigy Yamal has shown off his brand new brace, sporting the blue and dark red colors of his club.

His teeth are now decorated with blue and red jewels

Jewelry brand Twojeys posted a video of the winger showing off his new striking teeth, which are now adorned with the company’s two-star logo.

The youngster has been one of the most exciting players to watch over the past 12 months and was catapulted into superstardom this summer with his stunning performances for Spain at the European Championship.

Still just 17, the striker leads LaLiga for assists (six), while his teammate Robert Lewandowski has blown the competition apart with his 12 goals in 10 games to put Hansi Flick’s side top.

The Blaugrana have suffered just one defeat so far, winning their other nine matches, while Real have also lost just once.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are just three points behind Barca with even wins and three draws, although the Catalan titans’ goal difference of 23 means Real would need to win and secure an 11-goal swing to take top spot.

Yamal will also be the frontrunner for the upcoming Kopa Trophy award, which will be presented on Tuesday.

The Kopa Trophy is awarded to the most impressive young player of the past year, with previous winners including Jude Bellingham, Pedri and Gavi.

Yamal has been in wonderful form this season and was part of the Barca team that defeated Bayern Munich 4-1 in the Champions League this week.

Vincent Kompany praised Yamal and the club for their confidence in him, saying: ‘It is exceptional for Barça as a club [to have Yamal] so soon after the departure of a player like Messi.

‘For my generation, Messi was one of the key figures of our time. To potentially have a player who can replace him shortly after the departure of this player is quite unique.

Kompany added that Barcelona’s academy system, La Masia, can take much of the credit for developing Lamal as a youngster in the same way as Messi.

‘All credit to La Masia for always trusting these players and giving them the opportunity.’
