Taylor Swift fans are convinced her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn is dating a Kardashian

Taylor Swift fans have started a wild rumor, speculating that one of the pop star’s exes may be dating a Kardashian.

Swifties suspect British actor Joe Alwyn, who split from the Cardigan singer in April 2023, is rekindling a romance with Kendall Jenner after the two posed together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

In the snapshot shared by FashionAlwyn stands with his arm around a beaming Kendall as they pose next to another of Swift’s exes, Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Fans quickly noticed that Alwyn also liked Jenner’s Instagram post from the event, adding fuel to the fire.

“It looks like we’re heading towards a relationship between Kendall Jenner and Joe Alwyn that would drive so many people crazy,” said TikTok user Hankatherinee speculated, before referencing Taylor Swift’s infamous feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

“This would be huge because as you know Swifties would go crazy considering the past between Taylor, Kim and Kanye, and Joe is Taylor’s ex so it would be wild if he dated KarJenner,” the user continued.

Kendall and Taylor are also known to have a checkered history, as both dated pop star Harry Styles within months of each other.

This wasn’t lost on Swifties, with one tweeting: ‘Oh Kendel [sic] Please stay away from Joe, we don’t want another Harry Styles fiasco.”

Another wrote: “Joe with Kendall is wild,” while a third joked: “Kendall and Joe in one photo weren’t on my 2024 bingo card.”

The rivalry between Taylor and Kardashian dates back to the release of Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo in 2016. In the album’s song Famous, Kim’s ex-husband raps: ‘I feel like Taylor and I might still have sex / Why ? I made that b**** famous.”

The line, which refers to the moment Kanye interrupted Taylor’s win at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, is said to have been passed to the singer for approval, but she denies ever consenting to it.

Taylor said she had been contacted about the song, but was “never informed of the actual lyrics: ‘I made that b**** Famous.’

In an attempt to prove Kanye’s version, Kim shared an edited clip from the studio of him calling Taylor up and seemingly getting her approval.

However, the clip shows that he’s conveying the idea more than the specific lyrics, and when the full call was later leaked, it became clear that the use of “b****,” which seemed to be a major problem for Taylor, was completely omitted.

Things seemed to settle down in the following years, with Kim claiming on Watch What Happens Live in 2019 that the trio had “moved on” from the dispute.

However, that wasn’t how the Blank Space singer saw it, and she later said in an interview with Elle, “It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us.”

While Taylor’s career has never been better or more prominent than in recent years, she lamented in her 2023 TIME Person of the Year profile that the dispute “took me psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”

“You have a completely fabricated frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, that Kim Kardashian edited and then broadcast to everyone telling everyone I was a liar,” she seethed.

Meanwhile, Taylor did not end her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn amicably.

In June, Joe finally made the decision to break his silence on the split after being left “emotionally drained” by the endless questions about their six-year romance and subsequent breakup following the release of her latest album.

The actor said he had “a long, loving, completely committed relationship” with the American pop superstar when he first opened up in an interview with the Sunday Times stylerevealing their breakup was “difficult to navigate.”

Taylor has been involved in a feud with Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian for years. That family rivalry dates back to the release of Kanye West’s 2016 The Life Of Pablo

Alwyn reportedly addressed the speculation to “get ahead” after Swift appeared to make several scathing comments about him on The Tortured Poets Department, which she released in April.

“Joe wanted to get this over with once and for all so he can move on with his life and career,” an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com.
