Jorgie and her partner Oliver recently said they were “excited” when they announced they were expecting a boy.

The actress, known for her role as Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, will give birth in December, a year after the couple’s engagement.

Jorgie recently said having a “healthy baby was a dream come true” as the couple spoke of their heartbreak after previous miscarriages.

Talking to Hello! magazine, Jorgie said: “We are excited to reveal that we are expecting a baby boy. Ollie and I didn’t mind, of course. All we wanted was a baby.

“At least he’s very active and I can feel him doing flips and back flips. It’s incredible to think what we’ve created.’

Oliver described their emotion during routine ultrasounds after suffering miscarriages in the past year.

He said: ‘We had been through so much to get to this point and had learned not to take anything for granted. Just having a healthy baby was a dream come true.”

The couple announced their pregnancy in June after a heartbreaking journey to become parents.

In August 2021, during a 14-week scan, the couple discovered that Jorgie had lost the quadruplets they conceived naturally.

In February, they learned of their second miscarriage when they were six weeks pregnant — on the day of their engagement party.
