Emanuel Molenaar has spent his life managing the locks of Hollywood heavyweights, while forming close friendships with some of them.

Recently, the hair expert broke his silence on who prompted him to pull away his brush while speaking to the podcast host How it wasJulian Morgans.

A teaser clip of the episode was shared on the podcast’s TikTok page and has been viewed more than 1.7 million times to date.

In the shocking video, Emanuel claimed working with the Princess Diaries star, 41, was “one of the worst experiences”, before adding that 37-year-old Blake – who has been embroiled in bitter controversy – was “dismissive”.

The clip was captioned as follows: ‘In Part 2 of our interview with Hollywood hairstylist Emanuel Miller, he talks about some of the challenging experiences he’s had working with celebrities.

‘While many were kind, others were cold and rude. The Blake Lively controversy does not surprise him because it mirrors behavior he has seen in others, including Anne Hathaway.”

In the teaser, the Hollywood hair expert noted that while the backlash against the Gossip Girl alum didn’t faze him, he had to mention his unpleasant experience working with Anne.

He claimed, “It’s hard to talk about working with Blake without mentioning that I did a movie with Anne Hathaway and that was one of my worst experiences.

‘Anne never recognized me as a person for four and a half months. She treated me like a servant.”

The tresses pro claimed that Anne – who recently announced she would be starring in Princess Diaries 3 – never asked him about his family or personal life.

“There was never a personal conversation,” he said.

Emanuel continued his stance on the blonde beauty, saying, “When I first met Blake I was like, ‘Oh no, is this another Anne situation?’

Blake has faced criticism for the way she promoted her film It Ends With Us, amid allegations of a rumored rift with Justin Baldoni, who plays her on-screen love interest, after the actors took part in separate promotional work for the summer hit and reportedly don’t talk.

The drama started with rumors of a brewing tension between the stars after Blake felt Justin was fat-shaming her when he asked his personal trainer for advice on how to protect his back during a scene where he had to lift her .

That hostility seemed to have spilled over into post-production and publicity, with Blake later accused of ‘bullying’ Justin out of his first major film.

Additionally, the Gossip Girl alum faced backlash over her “mean girl” behavior and past comments in multiple resurfaced interviews.
