Ferne McCann is laser-focused on the rink as she begins another day of gruelling Dancing On Ice training – after opening up about skating fears
Ferne McCann was focused on learning her moves as she headed to the ice rink for another day of demanding Dancing On Ice training in Manchester.
The former TOWIE star, 34, focused on keeping her balance as she moved around the rink on her skates on Friday.
The TV favorite wore a lilac sweater and protected herself from the cold in a puffed gray sleeveless jacket.
She kept warm in black leggings and matching gloves as the reality favorite mastered her moves before appearing on the hit ITV show, which starts in January.
The former I’m A Celebrity star took to the rink with ease and spun around as she kept her balance, despite admitting ‘I can’t see how she’ll be ready for a live show’.

Speaking to MailOnline at the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday, the star lifted the lid on her concerns about taking part in the ITV competition.
Ferne said candidly: ‘Everyone has said to me, “Oh, can you skate?” and I found it a very difficult question to answer. No, I can’t skate, I did Winter Wonderland on Sunday.
‘Normally I bend over a penguin to hold her up. I’m very fit, I love training, but this is a completely different story and it’s a challenge.
“I can now skate after my two-week training is in full swing and it’s a lot of fun and great to learn a new skill.”
The reality TV star added: “It’s just a challenge. I’ve been looking on YouTube and scrolling through the Dancing On Ice Instagram and I just want to focus day by day instead of watching because it puts me off.
“In my mind, where I am right now, I can’t see how I’m going to get ready for the show live. It’s not right.’
Ferne explained that she balances parenthood well, as the training only takes two hours a day, five days a week.
She noted: “Sunday is at school, you know, my mum has Finty so it’s a nice balance and I get to train at Chelmsford rink so it’s local.”

The beauty also opened up about the decision to end her long-running reality TV series My Family And Me.
Ferne, best known for her regular appearances on The Only Way Is Essex with Shepherd, has documented her journey from pregnancy and single parenthood to engaged mother-of-two in ITVBe shows First Time Mum and, more recently, My Family And Me.
But the TV personality announced in September that he was ready to pull the plug after making the “difficult decision” with businessman fiance Lorri Haines and six-year-old daughter Sunday, her child with ex-partner Arthur Collins.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the Pride Of Britain Awards, Ferne said: ‘I haven’t talked about it much but I’m thinking now, I had the last episode the other day, oh my God, why do I feel like I’m going to do that? shout?
“This has been part of my life for seven years and I’m so sad it’s come to an end, but I just knew in my heart it was the right decision.
I’ve been thinking about it since the beginning of this year and I made this decision solely for Sunday and for my children.
She explained: ‘She’s in year two now and I just feel like I don’t want her to leave school and have to film.
I want her to create her own path in life, that’s all she’s ever known. I’m not very good with endings, but it’s the best decision.’
She confirmed the news with her Instagram followers last month, writing: ‘After an incredible 13 series I have made the very difficult decision that this series of @fernemyfamandme will be my last.
‘Where do I start? First, by saying a huge thank you to everyone who watched my show and went on a family trip with us.
Speaking to MailOnline at the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday, the star explained her concerns about taking part in the ITV competition.
“This show has been such an incredible part of my life for the past seven years and what a ride it has been filming from Sunday’s pregnancy to now. Your support and loyalty to me and my family has lifted me up more at times than you will ever know. Thank you.’
Ferne, who is also a parent to 14-month-old son Finty with Haines, added: “From the day I started filming, I poured my heart and soul into the series. I truly feel like I have laughed, cried, loved you and lived with you, sharing all the ups and downs.
“This decision was not easy, but it feels like this is the right time for change.
“I made this decision with my children (especially Sunday, who has been on this entire journey with me) in mind.
“They are my absolute priority and Sunday is now at an age where she is very much her own little person and I want her to go out there and forge her own path.
“I am eternally grateful to everyone who saw the show, supported us and came through it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
