Travis Scott’s WILD payday to perform at remote Aussie nightclub is revealed as rapper puts quiet Victorian suburb on the map

A Victorian suburb has been ‘put on the map’ after a nightclub owner welcomed US superstar Travis Scott to his club on Wednesday.

Following Travis’ performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, the Sicko Mode hitmaker headed 38 kilometers outside the CBD for the official Circus Maximus afterparty at District 14 nightclub in Narre Warren.

Appear on FoxFM’s Fifi Fev & Nick On Friday, District 14 owner Dominic Porter revealed exactly what it took to get the superstar to his zip code.

Dominic said it took ‘a lot of time, a lot of money and a lot of convincing’ after presenter Fifi Box asked how he pulled off such a musical coup.

“I have a great business partner, Alex, and he was able to reach the managers and agents,” he said.

“He put in a lot of work and he was able to get us in there.”

Co-host Brendan Fevola, himself a native of Narre Warren, was more interested in copper tax.

“Stupid, I need to know, how much cash?” he asked. “It had to be a lot to get him to Narre Warren.”

But Dominic remained tight-lipped and replied, “We put Narre Warren on the map, but I’m not going to tell you how much money.”

Not satisfied with the diplomatic response, Fev pressed further, adding, “I would have said a few hundred thousand.”

Still unwilling to reveal the actual amount, Dominic said Travis’ performance at the nightclub was less than the radio host’s estimate.

“He was on stage for 40 minutes, and I can say it was less than a few hundred thousand,” Dominic said.

“We have a friend’s rates.”

However, the party supplier let one detail slip: Travis and his entourage are big fans of tequila.

“How was his rider?” Fifi asked.

“About 15 bottles of 1942 Tequila, and there were about 60 bottles of Azul,” he said.

“There was a lot of tequila.”

A bottle of Clase Azul Tequila costs about $376, while $270 will run you a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila, meaning Travis’ backstage bar bill alone would have run more than $26,000.

The promoter added that despite having one of the biggest artists in the world appearing at his nightclub, Dominic had bigger fish to fry.

“Bigger artists are coming,” he boasted, prompting the panel to throw out some suggestions, including rapper Kendrick Lamar who recently announced an Australian tour.

‘Who knows?’ Dominic said through his lips. ‘Keep an eye on your socials.’

Travis’ trip to the Melbourne suburbs came after a wild performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday night, which saw a concertgoer suffer a terrifying medical episode after being ‘kicked’ by a security guard.

The American rapper’s Australian tour was marred by similar violent melees during shows.

Fans also clashed with security guards at Travis Scott’s sold-out show in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Tuesday night.

In footage posted to TikTok, customers can be seen trying to fight their way past security and ending up in the mosh pit as Scott performed his Circus Maximus Tour.

The clip showed security guards detaining rowdy members of the crowd as die-hard fans fought to gain free entry into the mosh pit.
