Hillary Clinton says Trump is going to Madison Square Garden to ‘reenact’ the 1939 Nazi rally

Hillary Clinton compares Donald Trump’s upcoming Madison Square Garden rally to the 1939 pro-Nazi event at the same iconic location.

Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival is still railing against him, warning Americans not to give him another term with just 12 days to go until Election Day.

The former secretary of state said Trump is trying to “reenact” the Nazi rally that took place at the New York City site just over six months before the start of World War II.

She agreed with former White House chief of staff John Kelly’s classification of Trump as a “fascist.” and urged voters to “open their eyes” and prevent Trump from winning.

“The term fits,” she told CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Thursday.

Hillary Clinton said Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday will attempt to recreate the 1939 neo-Nazi rally at the same location.

Trump will hold a rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, just nine days before the 2024 presidential election.

Some have questioned the choice of location so close to the election, when New York state is very blue and it is highly unlikely the former president could make up enough ground to win over voters in the liberal city.

“You know, another thing you’ll see next week, Kaitlan, is Trump actually reenacting the 1939 Madison Square Garden rally,” Clinton continued.

She explained, “Neo-Nazis, fascists, in America were lining up to essentially show their support for the kind of government they saw in Germany. So I don’t think we can ignore it.’

“Now it might be a leap for some people, and a lot of others might be thinking, ‘I don’t want to go there.’ I don’t want to say that.’ But please open your eyes to the danger this man poses to our country, because I think it is clear and present to anyone who is paying attention,” Clinton concluded.

The rally in New York City on Sunday is sure to be filled with an array of speakers supporting Trump’s bid for a second, non-consecutive term in the White House.

The venue has a capacity of 19,500 people and was completely filled for the 1939 neo-Nazi rally.

Trump says he will also sell out Madison Square Garden for his rally.
