Beyonce to campaign with Kamala Harris in Texas after she devastated Democrats with convention no-show

Beyonce is expected to finally appear with Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in Houston on Friday evening.

DailyMail.com confirmed that Queen Bey would appear alongside the Democratic nominee, after months of speculation about when the singer would appear on the campaign trail.

Beyonce was rumored to be the special guest at the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

But the convention ended with Harris’ speech and the traditional balloon drop, with no further pop star surprise aside from Pink’s appearance, which disappointed Democrats.

Beyonce will appear alongside her mother Tina Knowles and Willie Nelson during the Friday affair, The Washington Post first reported this.

Tina Knowles endorsed Harris in July.

Beyonce also showed her support for Harris almost immediately — allowing the vice president to use Freedom in her campaign ads and during rallies.

She also threatened to send a cease and desist letter to the Trump campaign after the same song was used on Trump’s social media.

And DailyMail.com reported in August that Beyonce planned to attend a fundraiser for the Democratic nominee.

Harris’ event Friday is being billed as a focus on abortion rights, as the campaign called Texas “ground zero of Trump’s extreme abortion bans.”

The Democratic nominee will also appear alongside Rep. Colin Allred, who is within striking distance of Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in the U.S. Senate polls in Texas.

Houston is Beyoncé’s birthplace.

The star did not appear on the campaign trail with President Joe Biden in 2020, but did appear in support of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 with her husband Jay-Z at a rally in Cleveland just days before the 2016 election .

Clinton subsequently lost that race to former President Donald Trump.

The Harris campaign introduces a number of celebrity endorsers in the final stage.

Eminem appeared with former President Barack Obama at a rally in Detroit on Tuesday.

Bruce Springsteen will make several appearances – including one Monday in Philadelphia – in support of the Democratic candidate.

On Saturday, Lizzo appeared with Harris in Detroit, while Usher joined her in Atlanta.

In addition to Beyonce, there are questions about whether Taylor Swift can give Harris a boost in the final days.

Four years ago, Lady Gaga performed alongside Biden outside the Pittsburgh Steelers stadium on election eve, helping him build excitement in the ultimate swing state of Pennsylvania.
