Aussie reality star breaks down following five-hour life-changing surgery
Sarah McDougal has broken down in tears after life-changing surgery.
The 23-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to share a video of herself after undergoing breast reduction surgery.
The procedure took five hours and when Sarah woke up from the marathon surgery, her boyfriend filmed her reactions.
The Big Brother Australia fan favorite looked down at her chest and her jaw dropped in shock.
Then she started to cry as she felt her new, much smaller breasts and sobbed as she said, “I’m so grateful.”
Later, the reality star looked back at her surgical gown and commented on how happy she was with her new body.
“Oh my God, they’re so cute,” she said, prompting her friend to ask, “How would you describe them?”
Sarah replied: ‘Perfect.’

She then asked to “see the camera” and her friend then turned the camera on himself.
‘Camera won’t see. I still want to see it. This is where I’m dropping you off,β he said before the video ended.
Sarah captioned her video with a heartwarming message to her followers.
Later, the reality star looked back at her surgical gown and commented on how happy she was with her new body. βOh my God, they’re so cute,β she said
βI don’t think many people can understand how life-changing this surgery is for me,β she began.
βI just have no words other than how grateful I am for this life of mine.
βTo anyone reading this right now, take the life of the FKN BALLS MAN. You do it for you,β she said in the post.
Breast reduction surgery, also called reduction mammoplasty, removes excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin.
The procedure often aims to achieve a breast size that is proportionate to a woman’s body or to relieve the discomfort associated with overly large breasts.
According to the Victorian Department of Health, ‘Excessively large breasts can cause both health and emotional problems for some women.
‘The weight of excess breast tissue can limit a woman’s ability to lead an active life. Some women also feel very insecure about having large breasts.’
