Did Kim Kardashian Have a SECRET Facelift? Star, 44, had surgery after fillers aged her prematurely, suggests one of Britain’s top cosmetic doctors

She is one of the world’s most famous faces. And despite Kim Kardashian’s stunning looks, the A-lister is no stranger to having her appearance scrutinized.

But after a recent public appearance, the mother-of-four’s extraordinarily sculpted face led to speculation that she may have sought a little help from the surgeon’s knife.

When she attended the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles this week, she wore glamorous makeup and slicked back hair.

However, social media users pointed out that she showed ‘virtually no signs of ageing’ and suggested she had undergone a ‘tastefully executed facelift’ – at just 44 years old.

Now a leading British cosmetic doctor has given his opinion – and he agrees that Kim’s face shows all the signs of another cosmetic operation.

Kim has vehemently denied ever having surgery on her face, but fans have long speculated that she has had fillers – a popular procedure in which gels are injected under the skin where they sit, adding volume.

However, she has previously admitted to using a ‘little bit of Botox’.

London-based aesthetics doctor Dr Jonny Betteridge said he suspects the mother-of-four has undergone something called ‘a ponytail facelift’.

In an Instagram videohe told his 289,000 followers: ‘Fillers only go so far and when you fill your face so much you can’t go any further you often have to dissolve what you have and then you’re left with an alternative. option. That’s an operation.

‘You can see how toned and lifted her face looks, with virtually no signs of aging.

‘Given her facial expression, I think she had a ponytail facelift about two or three years ago, with the scars placed discreetly in the hairline at the temple and behind the ear.’

A ponytail facelift, also called a mini facelift or short scar facelift, is a minimally invasive cosmetic facial treatment that takes about an hour and a half.

It costs around £6,000 privately in Britain.

Due to the discreet incisions around the ears and hairline, underlying tissues tighten and muscles can be repositioned.

Excess skin can then be trimmed to create a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Dr. Betteridge added: “In a video of her from 2022, we can see signs of skin folds in front of the ear.

“But for her to look the same as she did 20 years ago, with the only real obvious difference being her nose shape and cheek volume, I’d say that’s pretty impressive.”

‘Great surgeon! She looks so amazing,” one fan wrote in a comment on Dr.’s video. Betteridge.

‘She looks fantastic, but looks like she needs a facelift. Isn’t it incredibly young to have one?’ another wondered.

He said: 'From her facial expression I think she had a ponytail facelift about two or three years ago, with the scars placed discreetly in the hairline at the temple and behind the ear.'

Speaking to MailOnline earlier this month, a surgeon warned of the increase in the number of younger women needing facelift surgery because their appearance had been ‘ruined’ by years of filler injections.

Dr. Julian De Silva, a specialist in facial plastic surgery, said: ‘More and more women are coming to me about facial aging in their 30s. It is often because they have had fillers.

‘Filler can build up; it does not always dissolve completely naturally and it can be very difficult to remove.

‘A patient I hadn’t seen in five years came back for facelift surgery and I almost didn’t recognize her because so much volume had been added to her cheeks, lips, chin and jawline.

“She had it added every six months and it just piled up.

‘We have solved as much as possible. But patients often need surgery because their skin stretches.’

Dr. Sophie Shotter, from the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, added: ‘You’re not supposed to get fillers before you’re 18, but we know that less reputable clinics do.

‘So I’m not surprised that women end up with sagging skin and needing surgery by the age of 30.’

Last year, Dr. Andrew Peredo, who specializes in facial aesthetic treatments, also speculated that Kim had spent “somewhere around $50,000” because “she’s so famous.”

He told MailOnline: ‘It’s hard to say but I know surgeons who charge more than $200,000 for procedures because they are so famous and a lot of celebrities go to them.’

He also suggested she have lip augmentation via filler or fat grafting and a rhinoplasty, because “the top looks a little more refined.”

Dr. Peredo added, “Her eyes are also more visible and appear more feline, so it’s possible she had an eyelid job (or blepharoplasty) to get that more exotic look.

‘Her face also appears a little fuller, which could be due to her gaining some weight or using fillers to tighten the skin.’

Kim has only admitted to using “a little bit of Botox,” which she revealed in a 2022 interview with Allure.

She also said she had had “no filler” and “never had my cheeks or lips filled.”

However, she admitted that she used laser treatments regularly.

‘I care. “I think it’s really important to look good,” she said.

‘I usually do my beauty treatments late in the evening. After everyone is in bed, I do laser treatments.’
