Jealous girlfriend ‘murdered boyfriend for talking to another woman on the street’
A jealous girlfriend allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death after greeting another woman on the street.
Natacha Palavecino, 32, attacked her boyfriend Mariano Grinspun, 22, on Monday in González Catán, a city in Buenos Aires, officials said.
Police sources told the Clarín newspaper that Palavecino stabbed a kitchen knife into Grinspun’s chest after greeting the unknown 22-year-old woman, who also stabbed Palavecino in the left armpit, forearm and hand.
Disturbing surveillance footage showed Grinspun and Palavecino interacting in the street, with the injured boyfriend eventually collapsing.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, where Palavecino remained and was arrested by police.
Grinspun’s father, Ramón Grinspun, told El Trece television that Palavecino tried to stab his son in July, but he refused to report the incident to police.
“We went to report it, but he didn’t want to report it because he loved her,” the father said.
Instead, police issued a protective order banning Palavecino from being within 1,000 feet of Grinspun.

However, Grinspun was determined to save the relationship and never asked the police to extend the restraining order.
“He wanted to start a family with her, have a family with her, but it was sickening, both for her and for him,” Ramon said. “You can’t start a family with this violence.”
“We found out he was sleeping outside the door, like a tied dog, and she was holding him like a little animal,” Ramon added. “She tied him up and let him sleep outside.”
A neighbor told El Trece that Palavecino often subjected Grinspun to abuse.
“She attacked him with stones, pushed him, spit on him and treated him like a dog,” the neighbor said. “This woman didn’t love him, she treated him like a toy and a servant.”
Palavecino, who is suspected of murder, was sentenced to a year in prison for stabbing an ex-boyfriend in 2021.
