Liquid Web launches new GPU hosting service for AI and HPC – and users can access a range of Nvidia GPUs (including H100s)
Liquid Web has unveiled the launch of a new GPU hosting service designed to keep pace with the growing demands for high-performance computing (HPC).
The new offering will use Nvidia GPUs and is specifically aimed at developers focusing on AI and machine learning tasks, the company confirmed.
Users who take advantage of the new service can expect a range of benefits, including “accelerated performance with Nvidia GPUs,” according to Liquid Web.

Liquid Web Chief Growth Officer Sachin Puri said the new service will support developers at an “affordable price” and provide reserved hourly pricing options for users.
“AI has infinite untapped potential and we want to enable developers and AI innovators to harness the full power of NVIDIA GPUs,” said Puri.
“With performance benchmarks that speak for themselves, this solution is the clear choice for accelerating AI workloads and maximizing value. And this is just the beginning – stay tuned as we expand our range to deliver even more powerful solutions in the near future.”
Liquid Web CTO Ryan MacDonald noted that the company’s on-demand servers can offer “up to 15 percent” better GPU performance over virtualized environments, or at an equivalent lower price.
“Our on-demand NVIDIA-powered servers with preconfigured GPU stack enable customers to quickly deploy AI/ML and deep learning workloads – maximizing performance and value while focusing on outcomes rather than the configuration,” said Ryan MacDonald, Chief Technology Officer of Liquid Web.
What users can expect from Liquid Web’s GPU hosting service
The service uses a range of top GPUs, including Nvidia L4, L40S and H100 GPUs. According to the company, these offer “exceptional processing speeds” that are ideal for AI and machine learning applications, large language model (LLM) development, deep learning and data analytics.
As part of the service, users will also have access to on-demand bare metal options, which Liquid Web will enable companies to “take full control” of their infrastructure.
Liquid Web’s move comes amid a period of increased corporate focus on AI, with companies ramping up their development globally.
Grand View Research analyzes show that the global AI market is expected to reach a value of over $1.81 trillion by 2030, a significant increase compared to 2023, when the market value was $196.63 billion.
However, during this period there are increasing concerns about both the cost and availability of hardware, with GPU prices skyrocketing and hardware wait times increasing.
That is why, according to Liquid Web, flexibility is an important point of attention for the service. The company noted that users can customize GPU hosting to meet specific performance needs when needed, and is targeting businesses ranging from startup level to larger enterprises.
