Gabby recently said she and Kenny are still getting used to their twins Lois and Reuben, 19, moving out of their family home and the mum-of-two revealed she can now do things she wouldn’t have done before.

She told me Bella Magazine: ‘As sad as it is, it brings flexibility. You can do things you wouldn’t have done before.’

Gabby reminisced about when she and Kenny first started dating, adding, “It reminded me of when Kenny and I first started dating.

‘We used to live in Chiswick and I was driving through there the other day and had a real flashback to our early life as a 20-something couple.’

The TV presenter also added that she would like to rent out their house and live in central London for a few years.

It comes after her husband Kenny opened up about his battle with prostate cancer – and the impact it had on their sex life.

After coming clean following surgery to have his prostate removed in 2023, Kenny candidly discussed the after-effects of the treatment, saying it left him “black and blue downstairs” and that his sex life was not “consistent.”

Thanks to his candid admissions, ‘so many people’ have told the former sportsman that they have now been screened for prostate cancer.

However, Kenny probably didn’t want the conversation around his diagnosis – and his sex life – to continue for so long, with countless headlines and follow-up conversations – and even his son, Reuben, 19, has begged his parents to ‘stop talking about your sex life ‘.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Gabby revealed: ‘Kenny was keen to talk about it after he had his surgery as he felt very grateful because he indirectly discovered his prostate cancer by listening to an episode of [my] The Mid.Point Podcast.’

‘And he said, “I didn’t know anything about this, and I was so oblivious to it, the fact that it’s so much more common in men at 50, this is actually the age to get yourself tested.”

“And so he wanted to talk about it on an episode of The Mid.Point. And so we agreed that we would do that next, but we made some clips along the way. And he did say, ‘Look, I want to do this, but I don’t want to be a poster boy for prostate cancer.'”

Gabby explained how her husband felt after the podcast, she said, “he feels like it’s done, but of course there’s going to be conversations after that, and as the kids would say, as Reuben said, ‘I love that you I talked about Dad’s prostate cancer. Now stop talking about your sex life.”

She continued, “I think my kids are used to us being a little bit in the public eye, if you will, but they don’t really want us to get involved in the kind of machinations of our sex life, which I respect, and there’s I completely agree.’

Even Kenny’s mum commented on the subject, with the BBC presenter revealing: ‘His mum said, “Oh, you’re in the paper today talking about your sex life again”. And he said, “Well, it’s not really that, Mom. It was about prostate cancer.”

However, Gabby was proud that her husband discussed the issues and symptoms surrounding the cancer and its treatment.

She continued,

She continued, “But also make each other laugh and respect each other’s goals, dreams and hopes and never feel jealousy.”

The star added that “talking about the reality of having prostate cancer and the risks of your functionality not being as good or not working at all” was “a big emotional issue to deal with.”

Gabby went on to say, “I think it’s important to talk about it because there’s a lot of other things that can happen to middle-aged men that affect that and how it affects your relationship, and how it affects your feelings about yourself, all those things that I think will influence a lot of men.”

“And I think the more people can talk openly with their partner about those kinds of things, the better it will be for them to cope.”

Kenny’s prostate cancer was discovered after he went to the doctor to check his testosterone levels.

In 2023, Kenny told The Telegraph: ‘Whether it’s my dyslexia, my relationship, IVF, we’ve always been quite open. So I was really happy to talk about erectile dysfunction and all this other stuff because I thought, ‘It’s a symptom.’

Kenny continued, “From a sexual standpoint, it’s not consistent. As the surgeon told me, this could take 18 months. Within a month I got exercise, where he says, “That’s great.” So it’s just not that consistent. The great thing is you can take a tablet and that changes things.”

Reiterating the need for all men his age to get checked, he said: “If I can help one person that would be great. But I probably helped a lot of people with the coverage it had.”
