What time will Black Ops 6 release in your time zone?
BlackOps6 is the latest entry in the very long-running Black Ops wing of Activision’s Call of Duty series. More specialized in alternate history and espionage than other Call of Duty games, BlackOps6 launches with a new campaign set during the height of the Gulf War. As usual, the game offers a campaign, multiplayer and a zombie mode.

What time will Black Ops 6 release on PC?
BlackOps6 releases on Windows PC (both Steam and Battle.net) at 9:00 PM PDT on Thursday, October 24. Here’s when that is in your time zone, or you can look at the image above:
- 9pm PDT on October 24th off the west coast of North America
- 12pm EDT on October 25 off the east coast of North America
- 5am BST on October 25 for Great Britain
- 6am CEST on October 25 for Western Europe/Paris
- 1:00 PM JST on October 25 for Tokyo
BlackOps6 is currently available for pre-load for all players on all platforms.
What time will Black Ops 6 be released on PlayStation, Xbox and Microsoft Store?
For PlayStation, Xbox and Microsoft Store PC players, things are a little weird. Activision gives a release date for the game from 4am – 11pm PT on October 24.
At the very least, BlackOps6 should be available before midnight PT on October 25, but it could also launch several hours earlier. At this point it is best to follow the next step Call of Duty Blog or Call of Duty’s official social media accounts, although we’ll update this guide if Activision provides more clarity.
Is Black Ops 6 on Game Pass?
Yes, BlackOps6 is the first Call of Duty game to launch on Xbox Game Pass, following Microsoft’s official acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year. However, there is a small catch here. Game Pass Core and Game Pass Standard subscribers will not have access to this Call of Duty: Black Ops6 at launch.
The game will only launch for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. If you already have one of these levels, you can play with everyone else on launch day. If not, you’ll need to upgrade to a higher Game Pass tier or purchase the game separately.
What’s new in Black Ops 6?
BlackOps6 is the return of the subseries that began over a decade ago, and takes alternate history and applies it to the Gulf War and America in the early 1990s. As usual, the game comes with the three big Call of Duty staples: campaign, multiplayer and zombies. Unlike last year’s title, this zombie mode returns to the classic round-based variety.
The big new feature for this game is omnimovementwhich dramatically improves players’ ability to maneuver the battlefield in and out of combat.
