Obama claims Trump’s behavior shows signs of serious health problems: ‘You’d be worried about your grandpa’

Barack Obama questioned Donald Trump’s health on Tuesday at a campaign event for Kamala Harris, telling voters that “you’d be worried if grandpa acted like that.”

The former president repeatedly targeted the Republican candidate during a rally in Madison, Wisconsin, questioning his fitness for office.

Obama, along with South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, pointed to Trump’s town hall last week, where the former president played music for the final 40 minutes and bobbed his head toward it as he stood on stage.

“You’d be concerned if grandpa behaved like that,” Obama said.

“You called your brother, you called your cousins. You say: have you noticed? But this is coming from someone who wants unchecked power. So Wisconsin, we don’t need to see what an older, crazier Donald Trump looks like without guardrails; America is ready to turn the page.”

The 78-year-old Trump will be the oldest American president ever if he wins the White House in November. He takes over that honor from President Joe Biden, 82.

It’s an ironic twist.

Trump had repeatedly questioned Biden’s mental and physical capabilities to become president when Biden was still the Democratic nominee. But after Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Trump in July, Biden dropped out of the race under pressure from party officials.

Kamala Harris replaced Biden and, at 60, is 18 years younger than the Republican candidate.

Harris released medical records in which her doctor deemed her fit for office.

Trump has not released any formal medical records, although Dr. Ronny Jackson, who treated him at the White House, provided updates after Trump was shot and scratched in the ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign has said he is in “perfect and excellent health” to run for president.

Still, questions were raised last week after a town hall in Pennsylvania when, after someone fainted, Trump decided not to ask any more questions.

‘Let’s not ask any more questions. Let’s just listen to music. Let’s make music out of it. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?’ he said.

He spent the next 39 minutes swaying and bopping to the music, including show tunes and other favorites from his personal playlist.

Harris has questioned Trump’s mental capabilities, calling him “unstable.”

“I see his team at least saying he’s suffering from exhaustion,” Harris told reporters last week.

The Democratic nominee cited a Politico report that said there were several Trump interviews that were in the works but did not happen because Trump is “exhausted.” A Trump campaign spokesman told Politico this was “unequivocally false.”

However, Harris confiscated the report.

“Look, being president of the United States is probably one of the hardest jobs in the world. And so we really have to ask ourselves: If he’s exhausted on the campaign trail, is he qualified to do the job? And I think this is an open question and we need an answer,” Harris said.

The former president has declared himself sane and fit for command.

“Obviously, I’m in the middle of a very big and very controversial battle that we’re having,” he told CBS News.

“I’ve done my health checks. I also took cognitive tests twice and passed, which means a perfect score. I want to see her take a cognitive test because she couldn’t do that because she wasn’t born smart.”

Trump also said he’s “been 48 days now without rest,” adding, “I’m not even tired, I’m really excited.”

However, Harris continues to raise questions about his health. Just like her campaign surrogates.

Tim Walz was also at the meeting with Obama. The duo were in the fray on the first day of early voting to remind people to go to the polls.

Walz also went after Trump brutally, mocking the former president for working at McDonalds.

The Democratic vice presidential candidate also threw some zingers at JD Vance and Elon Musk.

But Trump bore the brunt of his attacks.

Walz focused on Trump working at a McDonalds in Pennsylvania on Sunday. Trump manned the chip station before answering questions through the drive-thru window. The restaurant was closed to the public for safety reasons due to the visit of the Republican candidate.

Democrats labeled it a “stunt.”

“He went to a McDonald’s and dressed up as a drive-through worker. They found him an apron his size and put it on him,” Walz said.

“There is something not only insane but cruel about a billionaire using people’s livelihoods as a political issue,” he added.

He also mocked Trump, saying he looked like Ronald McDonald.

‘He looks a lot more like Ronald McDonald than the clown he really is. And Ronald wears less makeup,” Walz said as the crowd cheered.

He also accused Trump of staging a “stunt,” claiming the restaurant wasn’t actually open.

“That restaurant wasn’t even open. It was a stunt, fake orders for fake customers. They even staged the drive through. We know they won’t let you pass through or let the d*** drive through,” he said. “Everything about this man is fake. Everything he does is fake. Then he’s going to tell you he’s a cop or a construction worker because he dances to the village people.’

“And I’ll tell you this: those five minutes that he stood next to the fryer, I can guarantee you, that’s the hardest that guy ever worked in his life. And that’s no joke,” Walz said.

He then turned his fire on Musk, the owner of X and Tesla.

He pointed to Musk campaigning with Trump in Pennsylvania and said, “Elon was on that stage jumping around like a dip***. That man is literally the richest man in the world, spending millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election.”
