Trent Williams’ shock gesture to young fan caught on camera seconds after ejection for punching Chiefs rival
As Trent Williams walked to the locker room after being ejected for punching rival Kansas City Chiefs player Bryan Cook, he made a shocking gesture to a young fan.
The San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman was thrown out of the Super Bowl rematch late in the fourth quarter after retaliating after Cook hit his helmet while in a downed position.
Then Williams took it upon himself to deliver a violent attack on Cook’s helmet.
Yet, a few steps before entering the tunnel, Williams has the presence of mind to sign a young girl’s enlarged hat on the brim.
Other children surrounded Williams, but he did not see them or give them autographs.

Williams’ dismissal is the least of the 49ers’ current problems, as the team sits at a disappointing 3-4 after the loss to the Chiefs.
San Francisco has lost its top two receivers, Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel, for the foreseeable future to various ailments.
Aiyuk tore his ACL and is out for the rest of the season, while Samuel is in the hospital with pneumonia and has no timetable for return.
The 49ers will have to fight their way to the playoffs with far fewer resources at their disposal than they have been used to in recent years.
Double that now that the Lions, Vikings, Packers and Commanders all look more impressive than San Francisco this season.
Williams will not miss any future games due to his exclusion Sunday.
