Bucs star Chris Godwin suffers horror injury as distraught teammates kneel around him before he’s carted off
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin suffered a serious leg injury in the final moments of Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Godwin was carted off the field with an air blast over his left leg. An air cushion is usually used for more serious injuries to keep the limbs safe.
Godwin suffered the injury after making a catch and being tackled to the turf.
As Godwin lay on the turf, his left leg can be seen pointing the wrong way.
After medical personnel attended to Godwin and applied a blast of air to his leg, his Buccaneers teammates were distraught as they surrounded him.

Godwin has spent his entire professional career in Tampa Bay since being drafted in 2017

Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield was seen hitting his helmet on the ground in frustration due to the injury.
Footage emerged of Godwin unable to walk at all and being taken to the trainer’s room after the Buccaneers’ loss.
Baltimore defeated Tampa Bay 41-31, with the Ravens scoring nearly all of their points unanswered due to the dominance of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
The Buccaneers had already lost top wide receiver Mike Evans to a leg injury earlier in the game.
Now the Buccaneers will likely enter the foreseeable future without their top two wide receivers, who rank second in the NFC South.
Godwin has spent his entire NFL career with the Buccaneers since entering the league in 2017.
