Aaron Rodgers is caught in DISGUSTING act during Jets’ loss to Steelers: ‘It’s his third pick of the game!’

There have been many low points for the New York Jets over the years. The Butt Fumble and Bill Belichick’s defection to the rival New England Patriots stand out, though everything after the team’s Super Bowl III victory against the Baltimore Colts in 1969 deserves attention.

But while falling to 2-5 after Sunday night’s 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers found a new way to crystallize Jets fans’ embarrassment.

“Blast season is going up in flames and Aaron Rodgers is on the sidelines eating his boogers,” one fan wrote on social media after NBC cameras appeared to show the four-time MVP doing just that.

Sunday night was bad enough for Rodgers, who reunited with former Packers teammate Davante Adams but connected on just 3 of 9 targets with the All-Pro receiver. And then there were Rodgers’ two interceptions that night, which only gave fans online more ammunition.

Referring to the footage of Rodgers tending his nostrils, one fan commented that it was his “third pick of the game.”

Was it a pick or a scratch? And why was Aaron Rodgers’ index finger around his mouth?

Others preferred to attack Rodgers for proudly refusing to take a COVID-19 vaccine.

‘Vaccinated?’ wrote one.

“Side effects of ivermectin,” said another.

Finally, a fan simply chided Rodgers for taking in empty calories.

“Yes,” he wrote. ‘There’s no nutritional value in that.’

Things got so bad for Rodgers that fans started rooting for Zach Wilson, the former first-round pick who played for the Jets before resurfacing as a backup in Denver this year. A year ago, when Wilson filled in for the injured Rodgers, the Jets were 4-3. Now they are just 2-5 and fans are gearing up for another rebuild.

“Someone needs to vaccinate America so they don’t have to watch this washed up conspiracy hound, fake smart guy QB and his horse*** offense on national television all the time,” wrote Jason La Canfora, a longtime NFL columnist at X.

“I wish I was immune to their garbage violation. Is there a shot for that? Who’s going to blame Rodgers for this damn show?’

Afterwards, Rodgers took a swipe at the media for doubting the Jets.

When asked how we can keep this belief alive in the team’s locker room, Rodgers said players should “stop listening to you, Number One.”

Rodgers added: “I just have to win, starting this week.”

The Jets travel to Foxborough on Sunday to take on the 1-6 Patriots – the only team below New York in the AFC East standings. Rodgers and the Jets previously dominated the Patriots 24-3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey on September 19.
