Lauren Phillips hangs out with A-list friends Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon as they attend Thor star’s personal trainer’s wedding

Lauren Phillips spent the weekend with her A-list friends Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky and Matt Damon.

The radio star and Hollywood A-listers attended the wedding of Chris’ best friend and personal trainer Luke Zocchi in Northern NSW.

Zocchi, 40, tied the knot with his partner Maria Babic in the Northern Rivers Hinterland on Saturday, almost two years after getting engaged.

And Nova star Lauren, 41, shared a candid photo of the grinning bride and groom as they were showered with white rose petals on her Instagram Stories on Monday.

“Such a special day to celebrate two of our favorite people on earth,” Phillips captioned the post.

Beaming bride Maria re-shared the photo on her own Instagram, making it one of the first of the newlyweds to be shared on social media.

Lauren also shared a photo of herself and her aviation magnate fiancé Paul O’Brien, catching up with The Martian star Matt Damon at the wedding.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth, 41, was part of Luke’s groomsmen for his special day, with the wedding party enjoying an outdoor ceremony in the grounds of Nutting Hill Villa in Clunes – 30 minutes south-west of Byron Bay – at 3pm.

Lauren also shared a sweet video of the moment showing the bride and groom being showered with flowers and congratulations by their wedding guests after tying the knot.

“The beautiful bride,” she wrote.

The intimate images showed Maria’s white wedding dress, with a long train and veil, walking down the aisle as the lovebirds said “I do.”

Luke and his groomsmen all appeared to be wearing white suits, while Maria’s bridesmaids looked stunning in silk, light blue and green toned dresses.

The husband and wife were surrounded by about 100 guests for the outdoor wedding.

Several photographers captured the beautiful moment the couple exchanged vows as a performer sang and strummed his guitar as Maria walked down the grassy aisle.

Lauren and her fiancé, millionaire businessman Paul O’Brien, flew from Melbourne for the big day.

It comes after Lauren washed away rumors of a rivalry with Sydney’s breakfast radio queen Jackie O Henderson in a Stellar Magazine cover story published this weekend.

“I wasn’t raised that way,” she said.

Lauren and her co-hosts Jase Hawkins and Clint Stanaway, who walked the red carpet at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) last weekend, axed their KIIS FM radio show to make way for the expansion of Kyle Sandiland’s and Jackie’s show in Sydney to Melbourne.

The hosts of Kyle and Jackie O Show reportedly made $200 million from the deal to keep them in both major cities until 2034, with Kyle later revealing that their paychecks are actually “more.”

“It’s been hard for us, but it’s awkward when you take over someone else’s job,” Lauren said diplomatically. “I’m sure they weren’t ecstatic about it. It was just their dream to have a national show, and slowly they’re getting there.”

Five months after Lauren, Jase and Clint launched their new Nova 100 show Jase & Lauren on March 8, the trio took Melbourne’s coveted number one FM breakfast title.

“We definitely felt the support from Melbourne, which was really nice,” Lauren told Ny Breaking Australia.

“I think back to last year’s ACRAs, when we felt so uncomfortable and so unsure of what our future was. We were right in the back there.”

Despite rumors swirling that she would urge celebrity friends to avoid Jackie’s radio show, Phillips said, “I don’t know Jackie well, but I’ve always really liked her.” I said hello in passing [before]and there is no bad blood between us.’

She acknowledged the competitive nature of the industry but downplayed any suggestion of hostility.

Lauren and Paul first bonded with Hollywood star Matt Damon and his wife Luciano Barroso over their shared love of horse racing during the Melbourne Cup.

She befriended the Oscar-winning star after Paul introduced her to his charter plane clientele, which also included Chris and Elsa.

The three couples are so close that they went on holiday together to Mykonos last June when Paul proposed to Lauren and celebrated Paul’s birthday together in Byron Bay.
