Alix Earle’s boyfriend Braxton Berrios suffers worrying knee injury as he limps out of Dolphins game

Injuries continue to mount for the Miami Dolphins, who lost kick returner Braxton Berrios on Sunday.

The diminutive 29-year-old was injured on a kickoff return during Sunday’s 16-10 loss to the Colts in Indianapolis. Several reports from the match claimed that it was Berrios’ left knee that he hurt. It appeared to be a non-contact injury.

The extent of the injury is unknown, but Berrios appeared frustrated on the sideline.

Although once a productive wide receiver, Berrios has been an afterthought in Miami’s offense this season as he has been targeted by Miami quarterbacks just three times. However, Berrios does have a large social media following thanks to his relationship with TikTok star Alix Earle and a previous romance with Sophia Culpo.

And he wasn’t the only Dolphins player injured on Sunday. Miami quarterback Tyler Huntley left the loss with a shoulder injury and did not return. Huntley started in place of Tua Tagovailoa, who is recovering from another concussion.

Huntley left midway through the third quarter with an injury to his right throwing shoulder. He completed 7 of 13 passes for 87 yards and one touchdown before leaving.

Tim Boyle took over the next time Miami had the ball and went the rest of the way, completing 8 of 13 passes for 74 yards.

Anthony Richardson passed for 129 yards and rushed for 56 to help the Colts improve to 4-3, while the Dolphins fell to 2-4. Richardson missed the previous two games with an oblique injury, but helped the Colts (4-3) win their second straight game. Tyler Goodson ran for a score, Grant Stuard had 18 tackles and Matt Gay made three field goals for Indianapolis.

Jonnu Smith had seven receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown for the Dolphins, who have lost four of their past five games. Tyreek Hill had just one catch for 8 yards, and Jaylen Waddle had one for 11 yards.

Miami took over with 1:51 to go, and the drive started with an 8-yard pass to Hill. The Dolphins later faced fourth-and-2 from the Indianapolis 33-yard line, and Boyle’s last-ditch throw was foul and out of bounds with seven seconds left. The Colts ran out the clock.

Indianapolis star Jonathan Taylor (ankle) missed his third straight game.

The Colts took their first lead at 13-10 when Gay kicked a 22-yard field goal with 8:41 left in the game.

Miami had a chance to tie the score, but Jason Sanders’ 54-yard field goal attempt hit the left upright and was off with 5:14 to go.

Gay added a 38-yarder with 1:51 remaining to push the Indianapolis lead to six.

Earlier, Indianapolis tied the score at 10 on Goodson’s 7-yard touchdown run with 9:08 left in the third quarter. The score was set up when Miami’s Raheem Mostert lost a fumble and the Colts’ Segun Olubi recovered it and ran 18 yards to the Miami 28-yard line.

Miami got on the scoreboard first when Huntley hit Smith with a 10-yard throw with 5:56 left in the first quarter. Sanders scored a 33-yard field goal with 22 seconds left in the half.

Indianapolis countered with Gay’s 52-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.
