An Australian woman living in Britain has revealed the aspects of life in London that shocked her most.
Comedian Jenny Tian, born in Finland but raised in Sydney, posted a clip on her YouTube channel under the name @nomnomjenny that has been viewed more than 238,000 times.
Introducing the video, she said: “These are the weirdest things you notice as an Australian living in London.”
Recounting the first aspect of life in London that surprised her, she focused on nature, which she jokingly compared to “a Disney film when there are stabbings”, thanks to the presence of animals such as foxes, squirrels and hedgehogs.
She then revealed her surprise at the wide range of supermarkets available to shoppers in the UK.

In a tongue-in-cheek comment about how this should promote healthy competition in the market to keep prices low, she quipped: “What’s the cost of living?”, referring to the crisis that continues to send food bills skyrocketing become. British people all over Britain.
Her third unveiling saw her center in London’s popular Westfield shopping centre, which has branches in the city’s Shepherds Bush and Stratford areas, as she was surprised to find it was ‘posh’.
Comparing it to the company’s reputation in Australia, she joked: ‘Westfield [in London is fancy. [In Australia] it is meant to be the place where children are [skip] school and making out in the parking lot. Why is it glamorous and respectable?’
Finally, Jenny said she was also surprised by the “extremely narrow roads” in London.
She said: ‘There’s only one lane in each direction so it creates so much traffic.’

Responding to the comments, viewers pointed out some aspects of London life that she highlighted and tried to explain the reasons behind them.
They said: ‘Every Brit has their favorite supermarket. And I mean everyone’.
