A man has been charged after three people were killed and another two left fighting for their lives after a car crashed into the side of a house in a Perth suburb.
Emergency services were called to reports that a white Holden Colorado car left the road at around 5.10am on Saturday and crashed into the back wall of a house adjacent to Orrong Rd in Carlisle.
A 34-year-old man and two 22-year-old men, all of whom were passengers, were treated for critical injuries by St John Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
A 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
The 22-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries and taken into police custody.
On Saturday evening he was charged with three counts of manslaughter and two counts of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
The driver was refused bail and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday.
No one was in the home at the time of the incident.

Anyone who saw the vehicle involved in the lead-up to the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as Orrong Rd remains closed in both directions between Francisco St and Archer St and will remain closed for a number of hours.
The public is also asked to avoid the area as a number of police and emergency services remain on scene.
