Al Pacino, 84, remains ‘forever haunted’ by painful childhood injury to his penis as he recalls ‘traumatic’ and ’embarrassing’ memory in new memoir

Al Pacino has said he will be ‘forever haunted’ by a painful penis injury he suffered as a 10-year-old.

The Godfather alum, 84, recalled the “traumatic” and “embarrassing” childhood memory in his new memoir, Sonny Boy.

While living in South Bronx, New York, Al said he remembered being in “so much pain” after slipping on a tightrope.

In People look at the book, Al writes: ‘I walked on a thin, iron fence and did my tightrope walk. It had been raining all morning, and sure enough, I slipped and fell, and the iron bar hit me directly between the legs.

‘I lay there on the bed, with my pants all the way around my ankles, while the three women in my life – my mother, my aunt and my grandmother – poked and prodded my penis in semi-panic.

“I thought, God, please take me now, when I heard them whispering things to each other as they were doing their inspection. To this day I am haunted by the thought of it.”

Al also describes the incident as ‘one of the most embarrassing experiences’ of his life.

It comes after Al and his ex-girlfriend Noor Alfallah enjoyed a cozy dinner at celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Thursday evening.

Noor, 30, is now said to be dating comedian and talk show host Bill Maher, 68, and still maintains an amicable friendship with the father of her child Al.

The former couple, who started dating in 2022 and welcomed their son in June 2023, say they are now just friends who share co-parenting duties with Roman.

While catching up on their co-parenting duties, Noor and Al were seen leaving the fancy eatery in the same car after enjoying dinner together.

Noor was behind the wheel, while Al sat back in the passenger seat with his dark-rimmed sunglasses on.

Recently, Al was asked if she was in a relationship, to which he replied, “No, I’m in a friendship.”

Noor was spotted leaving Chateau Marmont with the Real Time With Bill Maher host earlier this month.

There are reports that their new romance has been going on for longer than most people think.

People have reported that the couple has gone on several dates away from the public eye.

Al talks about becoming a father again at the age of 84 in his new, first-ever memoir, Sonny Boy, which just came out on October 8.

‘It’s always the same. It’s always the same. It’s a mini miracle. That’s all I can say,” the legendary actor shared People.

“It’s just so great to have kids,” he admitted in the pages. “For me, I loved it. It has, if you like, changed me all the better. It changed me for life. And the idea that you put your focus on other people who happen to be your children… that’s where the love is.”

Roman was born in June 2023, and shortly after, his mother filed for custody of their son in September.

A Los Angeles judge ruled that Al Noor must pay about $30,000 a month in child support for their son, according to documents obtained by Page six.

The Scarface star was first ordered to pay her a $110,000 payment, on top of monthly payments, as well as $13,000 for a night nurse, along with any medical bills not covered by health insurance.

The father of four must also pay $15,000 annually into an education fund for Roman.

As part of the ruling, the couple will have joint legal custody, while Noor will have primary physical custody of their son.

Noor previously had a romance with 63-year-old Holdings/Institute founder Nicolas Berggruen and 81-year-old Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger.

Along with Roman, The Godfather star also fathered daughter Julie, 35, with acting coach Jan Tarrant and fraternal twins Anton and Olivia, 23, with Emmy-nominated actress Beverly D’Angelo.
